Admissions to the program will be based on the Christ University entrance test (CUET) followed by Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), and Skill Assessment (SA) conducted by the university. Christ University B.Com course is available only in offline mode
The course is for a duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters
Christ University charges INR 1.5 Lakhs (students from Karnataka) or INR 2.4 Lakhs (students from other states) for its B.Com course

Christ University B.Com Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission into B.Com must have passed 10+2 in any stream.

Christ University B.Com Admission Criteria

Admission into B.Com is based on a valid score obtained in the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the University itself.
Shortlisted candidates shall have to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) and Micro Presentation (MP) via online video conferencing.
Final selection is based on candidates’ CUET score, performance in PI and MP, and previous academic performance.

CUET Exam Pattern

The entrance test is held in online mode. Due to Covid-19, candidates will have to give the test from their Computers or Laptops at home.
Candidates must ensure that Computers or Laptops are webcam enabled and have a working mic.
The entrance test for B.Com carries a total of 120 marks.
There will be six sections- Fundamental Accounting, Mathematics, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning, General Knowledge, English. Each section is worth 20 marks.
1 mark is awarded for each correct answer. 0.5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to Apply?

Prospective candidates for B.Com can follow the steps below to apply:

Candidates must visit the official website of Christ University.
Click on the ‘Admission’ option, followed by ‘Undergraduate & Postgraduate Programmes’
Then select the desired course and click on ‘Apply’
Candidates will be redirected to the application portal where they must register with a valid email ID.
After registering, log in with your email ID and password
Next, fill the application form with your personal and educational details.
Pay the application fee of Rs. 5000/- (Non-Refundable) through Credit / Debit Card / Net banking / DD drawn in favour of ‘Christ University payable at Bengaluru’.
Then, click on ‘Submit’.
Take several printouts of the filled application form for future reference.

PIO / OCI candidates must submit a copy of the PIO / OCI card (whichever is applicable).
Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India

The B.Com course curriculum consists of core courses, generic electives, discipline specific electives, and skill enhancement courses.
At the end of the 2nd semester, it is mandatory for students to do the NGO project
After the 4th semester, students are required to take a summer internship
Students will be offered the discipline specific electives in the 5th and 6th semesters in three subjects - Human Resource & Marketing Management, Banking & Insurance, and Accounting & Finance.

Having done some research on both the colleges, I have gathered some information which I am going to share with you. Hope this answers your question. Christ University Bangalore is a more experienced institute. It has the locational advantage being in Bangalore, which is the IT hub of India. A student of Christ University enjoys higher chances of being hired by IT MNC firms, after completing BBA. There is no exit option for the IPM course in IIM Indore once enrolled. In the current scenario, companies are showing preference to students who have a multi-disciplinary background. Pursuing a BBA and MBA with specializations will be a better option than pursuing a program for five years. Moreover, the average packages offered to the students who are pursuing IPM is less than that offered to the students who are pursuing PGDM. Categories Christ University Bangalore Course Fee 5 lakhs Highest CTC 8 LPA Average CTC 3.56 LPA Recruiting Companies Tech Mahindra, Accenture, IBM, Dell, etc. The final two years of IPM are PGDM. The reason for this is that IPM students have to take IPMAT and for PGDM, they will have to take CAT. CAT is much more difficult than the former. In addition to that, IPM is a new course. So it is really not worth the enormous amount of money. In Christ University, you will know the extent of its brand value.
