Due to the. love towards the subject of zoology. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. Understated faculty needs improvement. teaching is at a high level and easy use of teaching aids makes it more convenient. Exams are conducted at perfect timing without any kind of delay. Course Curriculum Overview:

I took psychology and journalism because I was already into psychology and wanted to do more of it and I took journalism too to dig deep into the media world. Usually, the psychology department has more teachers than journalism. Teaching is good but again it varies from teacher to teacher. The tests are usually at a medium level tough at times but sometimes they are easy.

One of my friends studied at Mount Carmel College Bangalore. According to her, the college life at Mount Carmel College Bangalore is pretty awesome. But it could also depend on the department you belong to.

  • One of the best departments at Mounts is the Psychology department.
  • The faculties at the Psychology department are wise, excellent, incredibly fun, and probably become best friends by the end of graduation.
  • The faculties are very encouraging of sports and all other extra-curricular activities.
  • They also have a bunch of exciting credit and certificate courses to choose from. There are baking, aerobics, human rights, life skills, etc.
  • The college is also famous for its fashion team.

You would not regret your decision of taking admissions here. The seniors are very helpful and the college staff is also friendly.

Various cultural events take place in the college. It is an all-girls college, thus the girls feel very comfortable on the campus. There is a lot to learn here, so go for it without any hesitation.

One of my friends studied at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. According to her, the admission is usually first come first serve for science but, you need to have more than 75% in your individual subjects in class 12th.

But since this pandemic everything was done online, let me take you through the process.

  • Apply for the course, then you will be shortlisted based on your merit.
  • After that, you will be called for the interview process through mail.
  • The interview is not difficult and it will be a general introduction and why this particular course.
  • If qualified, you will receive a confirmation for the same.

Do not miss out on the opportunity as it is a really good college and will provide you with enough exposure.

  • The merit list and cut-off marks vary from course to course.
  • You can apply for admissions by filling the application form. Check the eligibility norms prior to it.
  • The cut-off and merit list will be generated by the official authority. It will be based on the  12th marks.

08 Oct 21B.A. from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore (2016)

According to some of my friends studying at Mount Carmel College Bangalore, it is one of the most lenient colleges and yet known for its successful students.

  • The college is just a little strict regarding the dress code, other than that it is all good.
  • The college just asks their students to wear decent clothing, but it can be western too.
  • In terms of college timings to studies, it is very lenient.
  • The teachers at Carmel are very good, encouraging, and supportive.
  • They are very friendly and the students end up establishing a really nice friendship with them.
  • The institute is a little strict about ID cards, usually, the security does not allow the candidate inside even if they are students of the college without an ID card.
  • In terms of attendance, the students mostly attend the college even in the last working days of the college due to fear of attendance shortage.
  • The candidates also get marks based on their attendance.

The students will definitely enjoy their college life here if they don’t have any specification of studying in a Co-ed college as it is an all-girls college. Other than these, the students of Mount Carmel College are given a chance to learn holistically, it is indeed a very good college.

The Biotechnology department at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is quite good. The faculty at the department is excellent.

Admission is merit-based. They only consider your 10+2 grades. The interview depends on the department and also on the teachers. However, you don’t need to worry about the interview, it is more like a conversation with the admission committee.

I have a few friends from Mount Carmel College Bangalore. Their experience at the college has been quite good. Here are some snippets of their experience at the college.

  • Placements: Many reputed companies visit the college to recruit students. In the recent placement drive, the average and highest CTC offered at the institute was 2.95 LPA and 7 LPA. The placement cell also conducts placement training for the students, before the placement drive.
  • Facilities: The laboratory facilities offered at the institute are quite good. The 1st floor of the LSCB block has all the science labs. The computer labs use all the modern technologies.
  • Course Curriculum: The course curriculum followed for B.Com is quite good. Teachers use live examples to teach.
  • Fest: MCC organizes many fests. CulAh is quite reputed in Bangalore.
