One of the reasons I opted for Biotechnology was to clear my basics in Biology and get ready for a career in research. One thing that was great about Joseph's were the labs. Despite it being a bit crowded due to the number of students in my class, the labs were designed to be project labs. We had the oppurtunity to come up with our own research questions and then use the facilities of institution to answer them. Most faculty in the biotechnology department have either industry or research experience. I quite enjoyed a lot of my classes on molecular and cell biology- particularly because we disscussed latest papers and literature on the field. We also took a course on "research methodology and scintific writing" - which was a good primer to how academia works.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen b.com because in future we may get many employment opportunities for this course, and we can also get placed in IT companies from the college itself through campus placement. The faculty in the college are well trained, updated, and they make concepts much easier for the students, and there are no negative things to be told about our faculty, they are friendly and awesome. Exams and midterms are conducted every month after completion of the particular portions allotted for the semester, and it's not difficult to pass because the faculty members tell us and well, they help us to understand the subject more practically, and so it is not much difficult to pass in our exams if we sincerely concentrate to the lectures. And teachers are readily available anytime to clear any doubt of the students
