Srijan and concetto are the annual fest and tech fest respectively and they are conducted around 3rd February to 5 February and as of the Concetto the tech fest is 13 to 15 October approx it has east Asia's largerest library some have ac most dont they are well and comfy. every sport you can imagine is there all the possible clubs are there and are very interesting, to say the least.

You will get a small room of double occupancy and one table and one cupboard. The mess menu here looks good as it has non veg in 5days of a week but the taste is not so good as it doesn't have much spices in it. But the meal is healthy. You will be allotted a hostel room on the same day of physical registration
The college has 3 fests in a year but the official ones are only two one is srijan conducted in the month of February (annual fest). Concetto ( annual techfest) conducted in the month of October. Read Full ReviewHostel rooms are pretty small for 1st yearites with double occupancy but 2nd year onwards one would get spacious rooms. Hostel is regularly cleaned and sanitised by specific authorities. Meal quality and variety is quite basic you would miss home cooked food real bad and would take time to adjust but quite hygienic and can be considered nutritious enough. One would not fall ill after eating in mess.

Except these minor fests and events are conducted on regular basis by different clubs and societies of the college. The central Library is one of the largest technical libraries of Asia. The institute has ample amount of events running throughout the days including extra curricular activities and sports including all the facilities. Name a hobby and you can find a club related to it where you can join with like minded people to build upon your interest and explore.

Food quantity is good it is obvious there is no place where we can get food like home but still compared to the mess standards food is quite good here. Hostel allotment forms are to be filled out for room accommodation and signatures from officials are needed.
There are so many fests on campus like Srijan which is a cultural fest, Concetto which is east India's largest techno-management fest, Parakram which is the colleges sports competition, Khanan biggest mining fest in India and so on. Cultural fests take place in February and Tech fests take place in the monsoon period. The library is Asia's second largest library and books related to every course are available as well as biopics and some informal books like novels and stuff. Almost every sports facility is present on the campus and coaches for particular sports too. There are societies and clubs in the college and the college holds a sufficient amount of time in the introduction, induction and recruitment processes. The college provides one of the best campus life and helps with socializing. Codeism is the society run by students and clubs like Manthan, wtc, litm, litc, chayanika sangh etc are also run by the student body.

Campus Life is so good the environment of the campus is green and refreshing. There are many clubs including sports, cultural and technical clubs. Mess is also good, for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is arranged separately. Also, breakfast is included. During physical reporting, you will be guided accordingly for hostel accommodations

Classroom amenities include, benches, fans, digital boards, ACs, projectors There are separate clubs for every sport. sports here are, Volleyball, basketball, squash, gym, weightlifting , boxing, football, hockey, cricket etc There are various social groups in college including tech and cultural.

The annual fest is srijan and is conducted in February. Tech Fest is concetto and conducted in October. There will be a vast number of books in the library. Almost all books will be available in the library, we also have newspapers and articles. classrooms are media-based and taught on marker boards. A wide range of sports are available and for each sport, there is a unique club. And one extracurricular activity is a must. Student gymkhana is run by students.

I have a few friends who have completed their B.tech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and Jadavpur University. Here are some crucial factors you must take into account to understand the difference.
- Legacy: IIT(ISM), Dhanbad is an IIT which is a central level engineering institute and also one of the oldest colleges in the country. On the other hand, JU still remains a state-level university.
- Infrastructure: If you have visited both campuses, you can clearly see that the infrastructure at JU is crumbling as compared to that of IIT(ISM). JU has a campus the size of IIT(ISM), Dhanbad's lower ground.
- Rankings: Although most rankings are biased and paid, JU is always ranked below IIT(ISM) Dhanbad except in the NIRF Rankings.
- Placement packages: The tougher JEE Advanced criteria ensures the quality of students IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. All branches perform quite well. For example - The highest salary offered in CSE in the year 2017 was 1.05 crore

- MNNIT Allahabad is India’s first college that implements computer science engineering. It has made this institute ahead of some new IITs like ISM Dhanbad, IIT Ropar, IIT Gandhinagar, etc.

All three colleges, IIT Dhanbad, IIT BHU, and MNNIT Allahabad, are well-reputed and offer quality education in their respective fields. However, the choice between the three ultimately depends on your personal preferences and career goals. Here are some points to consider:

Both Jadavpur University and ISM Dhanbad are reputed institutes. ISM was already quite reputed across India and after getting the IIT tag, the institute has improved quite significantly.
- If you are getting branches like CSE/ECE at JU and offbeat branches at IIT ISM, then you should definitely choose JU.
- Another advantage of choosing JU is the negligible fee. For a 4 year long B.Tech you will need to pay only around 10,000.
So, take these factors into consideration, and choose according to your convenience.
IIT Patna is better for CSE. It has a great competitive coding culture. The official computer club of IIT Patna is NJACK. It is a thriving community of coders. They organize monthly contests to promote the coding culture further.
The strong competitive coding culture of the institute is one of the reasons, this branch has a good placement record. IIT Patna CSE average package had been INR 26.95 LPA, for the 2022 campus drive.
The research interface for CS is nothing sort of phenomenal. IIT Patna has signed an MoU with Flipkart for joint research in Artificial Intelligence-Natural Language Processing-Machine Learning.
The institute added two new branches related to CSE, i.e. BTech AI and Data Science, BS in Mathematics and Computing. So, the overall technical culture on campus is going to advance.
You should choose the branch in which you are really interested. Here are a few factors which may help you in choosing.
- IIT Palakkad is a fairly new IIT, whereas IIT Dhanbad is an old reputed institute with an extensive alumni network.
- If you are genuinely interested in Mathematics, then you should definitely go for MnC. I have some friends in CSE at IIT Dhanbad and their curriculum does not cover Mathematical topics much.
- IIT Palakkad being a new institute will need time to offer infrastructural facilities at the same level as IIT Dhanbad.
- Another thing that you need to note is that MMC is an integrated course with a 5-years duration. While CSE at IIT Palakkad will be a Bachelors’s degree or a dual degree. where you need to study for a minimum of 4 or 5 years.
Hence, it all depends on you which branch you are more interested in and which will be easier for you.
The first thing you should consider is whether you want to pursue a Ph.D. or want a job after the completion of the course. I have a few friends at IIT ISM and I can tell you there are very few good faculties for CSE if you want guidance regarding Ph.D.
