Since it is one of the oldest colleges in India so infrastructure is not so good. Especially electrical, mechanical, and civil departments however metallurgy and biotechnology departments are really impressive. Technizion is the tech fest which is held in December. Most of the clubs are self-supporting. Overall it's a good college experience.
Read Full ReviewMeal quality is good and we have to pay 1725 every 15 days for mess for food. The registration process for a hostel is every room has 3 people. Facilities have provided rooms for them. They lived on the campus.
Campus life is good. There are one lakh eighty thousand books in the library. Sufficient classrooms. Sports dance and music clubs are actively working. And some clubs are good. It is all good all things are good.

Read Full ReviewThe hostel fee is a bit reasonable. Meal quality is better compared to other colleges and we will have a special dinner once a month. The registration process is not so complicated. I live in the campus hostel. There are 3 people along with me in my room and they are so friendly.
The college life is so good. I've made a bunch of friends who are so reliable and I'm fortunate to find them. I hope this bond between us continues for a long time. We will have a fest called Springspree in the month of April and activities here are also good and I have joined NCC to explore further.
Read Full ReviewThe hostels here are good. Freshers have separate blocks in hostels. It's 3 seating per room. We have 3 beds 2 fans 2 lights and 3 study table sets. Food in the mess is also tasty. Our hostel environment is eco-friendly.
The campus life is good. It's eco-friendly. The environment here is so fresh. There are so many plants and trees here. The infrastructure is a bit old but beautiful. It's so beautiful here. Even the early morning view is so good. I'm a part of NSS. Being a part of the NSS club, I'm very much attached to nature and social services.
Read Full ReviewThey conducted technozion and spring spree. Books and journals are unlimited. We get books for UPSC. And other exams too. The classrooms are quite comfortable and pleasant. We have an indoor stadium where many of us play shuttle and we have a very big stadium for cricket and separate courts for basketball etc. There is no such group particularly. But there are many internal groups like student council etc. Even I am a member of the student Council.

Read Full ReviewActually we have 3 hostels for 1 St year it is 1.8k and for 2nd year it is blocks and for 3rd and 4th year it is 1k .and facilities are good in our room and if we are facing any difficulty then we can write it in the hostel office and then it will resolve in 2 to3 days
In our college, there is an annual fest named Spring Spree. this fest is for 5 days. I like this fest very much. And monthly our clubs and society conduct some events. and there are also sports activities branch to the branch
Read Full ReviewThere are multiple hostels available on the campus 1K, 1.8K, etc., and the rooms are well maintained by the workers they are cleaned every single day. Any issue regarding the hostel will be considered soon and set properly at the earliest. There will be three institute food courts for the students with the best quality food, a little adjustment has to be made by the student regarding taste else everything is at its finest, in addition to institute food courts food Street is also available for the students within the campus with legible prices. If the student has opted for the hostel it will be allocated to the students by the hostel faculty during the time of admission.
Many fests like spring spree, Technozion, youth fest, and many cultural fests will be held in the college. We have one the finest libraries in our country with over 1 Lakh books, it also have many journals and publications of research scholars. The maintenance of the classrooms is at the best and also has a facility for smart classes. Sports are also prioritized equally to the studies, Every year NIT competitions are held along with intramural competitions, we also have gym facilities and a stadium for sports and games. We have a robotics club, finwiz class, NSS/NCC club, EA-HAM club, painting, photography, and many more clubs and associations for every individual branch which are all maintained and run by the students in collaboration with some faculties.

The meals were not so bad that a person could comfortably eat the menu was daily the roti available and every week the menu repeated 7 days 7 rice will be there and for breakfast, you would have two choices either bread jam or the South Indian tiffins The process to apply for the hostel will be on the nit Warangal official website there will be a link just you have to pay a fee of 11000 and a caution fee in the starting of year about 20000 it will be paid once.
The fests that were conducted this month are the freshers party, ECE department welcome party, DND program, batukamma and we have a little more. The library was awesome and every book that was required are available in both soft and hard copy. There are lots of sports and I prefer volleyball and there is a program for freshers twice a week so that they have to go to the ground to perform some physical activity and play some games and there is ncc on the campus if you are interested then you can join the NCC. NIT Warangal provides very good hostel facilities to first-year students among most of the Engineering students in India. The approximate cost for a hostel ranges from 1.8-2k.
Second-year students are required to stay in the Old Blocks which is not as good as the hostels of First-year students.
For Third Year students, an average hostel costing 1k is provided with pretty decent facilities.
At a glance, we can say that the hostel facilities of NIT Warangal are better than that of NIT Trichy.
My brother did his M.Tech from NITC. Here is his insight into the general placement scenario for MTech at NITs.
Over the years it has been seen that the placements for M.Tech students are comparatively less as most of the companies demand B.Tech graduates as the freshers or even experienced candidates. However, in some cases, M.Tech students are considered, like in research and development-oriented jobs. However, most industries prefer B.Tech over M.Tech.
After pursuing M.Tech your area gets narrower due to which the situation becomes very tricky for both the employers and the candidates applying for. As far as all the colleges are concerned the placement statistics are not so good for M.Tech students.
In the recent placement drives, the average CTC offered at NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal were respectively 21 LPA, 6 LPA, and 11 LPA.
Having known some people who graduated from NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal I can say that there is no demand for either of these two subjects in the industry.
Both the colleges are of similar reputation in the industry, hence choose the one that suits your location. This will ease your transportation.

Honesty, discipline, and the values of the South Indian people and the states make them stand out. This might not be making sense to you, but will definitely try to elucidate the same here. Also, opinions vary among people.
One of my friends studied at NIT Trichy and he has lived in Hyderabad as well.
- According to him, 4 qualities that make any institution the best are - Hard work, discipline, humbleness, and the eagerness to learn. The people in the southern state's priorities have these factors more than the people in the northern states.
- The second point to note here is that, unless and until you get to the nerves, the people in the southern states are very calm and polite to you.
- Most of the people in the northern states, on the other hand, are of a rowdy attitude. Verbal abuses are common here.
The students in these institutions are dedicated to learning and so are the teachers towards teaching. Moreover, the rules and regulations are followed strictly in these institutions.
No, NITs are definitely not considered of the same level as the new IITs while applying to the US for an MS. But, the fact that IITs are the best brand in India and the second-best brand are NITs, is well known to the admission committees of most of the institutions.
- Every year, students from the top three NITs make it to top universities in the US.
- With the increase in this trend, NIT Trichy, Surathkal and Warangal are known to many institutions in the US.

- Another reason is the college is trying to maintain its age-old legacy by keeping the infrastructure as it is.
- They are rarely repaired, There is no construction of new buildings.
- Even the facilities are old and are not replaced by modern technologies.
If you think that the drop in the rankings is because of the quality of education, faculty, or placements, let me assure you that it is not. Because NIT Calicut is still considered among the top 4 NITs.
It depends on whether you want the IIT tag or not. Even if we don’t consider the IIT tag, IIT Dhanbad will definitely be a better option. I say this based on the reviews I git from my friends at both the institutes. Here are some of the reasons why you should choose Dhanbad.

Other than the impressive placements, IIT Dhanbad also offers a great academic environment. You will have helpful seniors and professors. It also puts a lot of emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities. Many events are organized on campus around the academic year such as Basant, Lohri, Holi, etc.
Overall, you will have a great experience at IIT Dhanbad.
Before beginning with the answer, you should know that the score you have got is quite good and there are chances of you to get a seat in NIT Trichy.
Here’s the process of NIT Trichy:
- Firstly, it is close to impossible to get a seat in CSE during the primary counseling of CCMT.
- Moreover, the spot round can provide you with a seat for CSE Information Security in NIT Warangal.
- Furthermore, after enrolling you have an option for internal sliding rounds in which there is a probability of getting a seat in the CSE branch.
- If not that, then the college itself will release the number of seats on the website for the students who are still interested in enrolling.

On the other hand, there is a high possibility that NIT Warangal also has the same procedure but my brother wasn’t sure about it.
If you are considering pursuing a computer science engineering program, it would be suggested that you consider both BITS Pilani Goa Campus and NIT Warangal. Both colleges offer excellent CSE departments and have a great coding culture at BPGC.
NIT Warangal would be the better choice for you. This is because BITS has only three campuses in India (four if you count Dubai), while there is an NIT in every state, and admission to these colleges is governed by state quotas. As a result, BPGC has the potential to overtake every NIT, except for the top 5-7 colleges. Nonetheless, both BITS Goa and NIT Warangal are currently excellent options for pursuing CSE.
If cost is an important factor for you, NIT Warangal might be the more suitable option, as it provides relatively low-cost education. However, the decision of which college to choose ultimately depends on you, and you should take all relevant factors into account before making a decision.
