Course Description

IIT Hyderabad BTech Admissions 2024 are expected to start in June 2024. IIT Hyderbad BTech Admissions are based on JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates having a JEE Advanced cutoff around 604 stands a good chance of getting into IIT Hyderbad. JoSAA releases 6 round of seat allotment for admission to IIT Hyderabad. JEE Main registrations are expected to start from November 2023 and the exam will be conducted in 2 sessions. Candidates having a valid JEE Main score need to register for JEE Advanced, where registration will commence in April 2024. However, NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 and Session 2 Exam dates. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 2024 and Feburary 1, 2024. The session 2 exams will be conducted on April 1, 2024 and April 15, 2024.

IIT Hyderabad B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are seeking to get their admission to the B.Tech program are required to have passed 10+2 with PCM. The candidate must appear in the JEE Advanced exam and score a valid percentile to qualify for the IIT Hyderabad admission. Candidates who are in the final year of their course or haven’t received their results are also eligible to apply.

The process of IIT Hyderabad admission usually starts in February.

The admission form for IIT Hyderabad's B.Tech program is available online, and the candidates can avail of the same on its official website by registering themselves on the portal.
After submitting the requisite form, the candidate will receive a link on their registered email ID.

IIT Hyderabad BTech Scholarships

IIT Hyderabad offers three scholarships. Following are the eligibility details for these scholarships:

MCM Scholarships eligibility criteria

This scholarship is available for General and OBC students.
25% of the students are eligible to get this award
Students will get exemption in their tuition fee, and INR 1,000 as scholarships
Parent's income of eligible students must not exceed INR 4.5 lacs for general students and INR 6 lacs for OBC students
Students must have a CGPA of 6.0

Institute SC/ST Scholarships eligibility criteria

This scholarship is available to all the SC and ST students
The students will be rewarded with free mess and boarding (to the extent collected) and pocket money of INR 250 per month
Parent's income of eligible students must not exceed INR 4.5 lacs
Students must have a CGPA of 6.0

Institute Free Studentship eligibility criteria

The free studentship will be rewarded to 10% of the students.
Parent's income must not exceed INR 4.5 lacs for general students and INR 6 lacs for OBC students.
