Read Full ReviewThe girls and boys hostels are separate buildings. Girls are allowed to enter boys hostels but not vice versa. The total number of boys and girls hostel buildings are 5 each. Hostel allocation takes place on a random basis by the student council and the administration. Separate breakdown of the hostel fees isn’t available as we’re not allowed to choose single or double occupancy rooms, they’re just randomly allocated and there is no triple sharing rooms. The hostel timings/college timings are from 6 am to 10 pm. Students are not allowed to leave college post 10 pm. However, we can freely roam around in and out of our hostels any time of the day with no restrictions but going in and out of the campus area is restricted. Yes food is included in hostel fees but I’m unable to find the specific breakdown. Yes there is one separate cafeteria and a Nescafé area in campus and students prefer the cafeteria more these days. The food quality is better compared to some other bschools and we get a menu every 2 weeks from the Mess Committee of the college. Yes the hostels are guarded. There are 1-2 guards present in the hostel building at all times and there have thankfully been no security threats at all.I have a sharing room. We don’t get to choose if we want sharing or non sharing room. There are ACs in every room, water cooler is there on every other floor, geysers are there in washrooms on every floor, almirah, study table, bed, chair but mattresses and other items we carry on our own. We don’t have a recreation room. The washrooms are not attached to the rooms. We have common washrooms and they’re cleaned once everyday. About 20-25 people share these common washrooms on a single floor.
We have sports facilities both indoor and outdoor such as badminton, basketball, football, lawn tennis and table tennis facilities. We have a fully equipped gym, open at all times. We have well equipped library and auditorium and we have access to third party resources via the library. The campus is 14 acres big and hostel and academic building are not too far off so students just walk to classes every day. Personal vehicles are not allowed on the campus premises. Relatives can visit for a few hours but cannot stay overnight on campus. There are no other food joints apart from the nescafe and the cafeteria. Yes the college has a doctor on campus every day for a few hours and ambulance at all times. The campus life is fun and flexible. The nightlife is lively especially when there are events going on. The cafeterias are open till 5 am every day. Students are always roaming around the campus 24*7. Students go out of the campus very often. Outside the college we have some tea stalls where students usually hangout and there is a small mall and a few cafés nearby. Inside the campus, students hangout around the sports ground or in the cafeteria. Roaming outside the campus at night is not very safe in Ghaziabad. We have our college Fest named Passion, and cultural events such as Holi, dandiya night, freshers and farewell and many more. The campus is lit up during these events. Some celebrities such as Akhil Sachdeva have come on campus to perform in the past and we’ve also had standup comedians such as Biswa join us. Major club committees include the Placement committee, student council, academic committee, the PR committee, admissions committee, mess committee, cultural committee, sports committee and some clubs are enactus, marketing club, etc. I’m currently not a part of any club/committee but during first year I was a part of the PR committee of the college. These club/committees help students with honing there soft skills and are helpful for CV pointers as well. Yes the college also has student exchange programs, students went to France as a part of the exchange. Around 20 students took part in this exchange and about 5-10 lacs was the money spent based on how much everyone could possibly spend

The college has great sports facilities. It has a football field, basketball court, badminton court, lawn tennis court, and table tennis tables as well. It aslo has a gym but the gym lacks a few machines. There is no swimming pool on the campus. The college is decently big and distance of hostel to campus would be aound 300m. Read Full ReviewWe have separate hostels for boys and girls. 5 hostels each for boys and girls. Girls can enter boy hostels but boys cannot enter girl hostel. For the first year boys are allocated hostel rooms and roommate randomly whereas for second year they can at least choose who to apply with. There are no hostel timings as such, just campus in and out timings wherein you cant exit campus beyond 10 and have to be back in campus premises before 11. Our overall fees include mess fees as well and there is no separate charge and yes we have separate canteen called Arcus. Food quality is not particularly great but it is still better than most engineering colleges. Yes the hostels have guards with a minimum of 1 guard at the reception of each hostel all times, both male and female. There has not been a major security threat in recent times.we have both single and double occupancy rooms and we are randomly allotted the same unless we specify basis some medical condition. All facilities are provided like ac, cooler, geyser, wifi etc and the quality is pretty good, a solid 7/10 overall. We have a common indoor games room which unfortunately for some of the hostels is used as a storage unit. We have common washrooms in all hostel blocks which are cleaned quite frequently and for hostel rooms we have to put our room number in the register any time before 5pm and the cleaner will then come to clean the room basis the availability. As far as I know all students stay in hostel premises bar those who are from Ghaziabad, Indrapuram, Delhi NCR Area who travel back home at times.
We have gyms, football ground, basketball court, tennis court and badminton courts as well. We dont have a swimming pool however. The auditorium and libraries are both big and well maintained and air conditioned most importantly. Library is open from 7am to 6am and we have access to third party databases like the Bloomberg terminal for CFM and other relevant certifications. The distance from hostel block to academic block is very less and will hardly take 5-7mins to cover in the main campus. For CDL, which is where the first year boys stay, the travel by bus/auto is about 15 mins. No we are not allowed vehicles on the campus and no visitors cannot stay overnight and have to leave by 6pm. There is a NESCAFE on campus grounds. We have a doctor on premises for 2-3hrs each day but not a medical center as suchMost students either rest or are preoccupied with club and committee work post calsses with studies only happening when exams are near. Nescafe is open till 4/5 in the morning with lot of students frequenting it in the dark and yes lot of students do roam around post sunset. I dont think it is that safe to roam around in night outside the campus. Passion and Chakravyuh are the main events with celebrities like Local Train, Nishant Suri having performed. The most important student body I believe for a student in terms of value addition and CV Pointer is either the Student Affairs and Welfare Council or the Placement Committee. Yes there are international immersion/foreign exchange programs offered by the college. I am not aware of what the intake is and whether there is an extra fee involved.

Besides these, the campus provides a gym offering a total range of fitness facilities. The auditorium and library are modern, holding a wide collection of books that students can easily access; the hours in the library are convenient, and third-party databases are available for research. The campus covers a substantial area, and since most of it is walkable, the distance from the hostels to the academic block is not too long. However, personal vehicles are not allowed in campus, and the campus site is open to relatives who may visit the students, with an arrangement made in advance. Besides the main canteen, there are several other food stalls. There is a medical center with a qualified doctor to treat students in case of any medical issue.Cafeterias open till late, which permits the student to hang out and study well into the night. Here is yet another review of a student from IMT Ghaziabad
If you work hard, you will have good opportunities and exposure at IMT Ghaziabad.
Keep your answer crisp. Draft your answer in a way that highlights the applicability part. If you have work experience, write what kind of work experience you have and the key deliverables. Mention your roles and responsibilities. If you are a fresher, mention academic achievements, particular subject knowledge or General Awareness especially corporate ones like the latest disruptive technologies, mergers acquisitions, etc.
For extra-curricular activities, you can mention any national-level achievements or participation. If you don’t have any national-level achievements to talk about, you can talk about undergraduate extracurriculars.
This is not only applicable to IMT Ghaziabad CT-GE-PI. It is applicable to all B-Schools applications. Keep it precise and talk about what you have done and can produce evidence of.
It’s worth taking an education loan of 17.5 lakhs for IMT Ghaziabad, even if you are a fresher. Here are the reasons why.
