Sports: Various sports facilities are offered to KIETians to promote a healthy sports environment. Several outdoor courts for games like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Tennis, Hockey, Football etc and indoor games like table tennis, badminton, billiards, carrom, etc are set-up at the institute to promote sports among its students. Intercollegiate tournaments are also held at the institute as a part of extracurricular activities. Alongside, a gym, judo training center, and a shooting range are also provided to the students within the campus.

Transportation: Ten buses from various routes ply to-and-fro from the institute to various major stops. Faculty and staff members along with day scholar students can avail the facility of these buses. In addition, for the convenience of those who are working beyond the normal working hours of the college, one bus departs at 7:00 pm everyday.
