- Versatile clubs - dance,sports, coding, poetry, acting, development
- Canteens & cafes available in affordable range
- College infrastructure with multiple & seperate labs for chemistry, physics, electronics, electrical, etc.
Dislikes
- Colledge size, only 18acre, too small. Min of 7minutes one can roam whole campus.
- Location is worst. Liest at merrut highway, far from main cities of noida & delhi. No parks or malls or any roaming place around 8km. Takes nearly 2hrs to reach hi tech place like delhi or noida
- Hostel size is very limited & intake is very high. If you get hostel then its good, you can enjoy your college but as living in pg outside your college, you're restricted only from 9 to 5pm you can be in colledge.
Remarks :
Common entrance test known as Jee Mains is held every year for admission to BTECH degree in various central & state colledges. Student studying in 12th or passed out are eligible for giving the examination. The syllabus is same as of 11th& 12th course. I study in KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad which comes under AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University- UP state board colledges). The Jee exam happens two times in a year, in January & after the boards in April in multiple shifts. Those who qualifies it may appear for Jee Advance for admission into IIT's.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In 1st year, the syllabus is common for all branches. From 2nd, personalized courses begin for respective branches. The faculties are very supportive one can ask their doubts freely. The exams fall in two categories, internal & external. External happens at the end of sem. Internal occurs at the completion of 2/5th of syllabus complete & lastly at full syllabus before end sem exam( pre university exam).
Placement Experience :
As of May 30, 2024, the KIET Ghaziabad campus had a placement rate of 65–70% for the 2023–2024 batch, with an average salary package of 5.5–6 LPA and a highest package of 60 LPA(off campus). Some of the top recruiters at KIET include: Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL, JP Morgan, Mahindra, and TCS.

Campus Life :
The name of annual fest is EPOQUE@prastuti which happens at start of odd semester. Technical fest name InnOTech happens in Jan. The library contains variety of books, articles, newspapers, magzines,etc. On can lend book of his choice for a period of 14days(max three at a time). Max books are of course related, others like poetry, story, novel, etc. Smart board is present in the classroom. Different labs are provided for physics, chemistry, electrical, electronics experiments. Annual sports happens every year. In this year,2024 our college hosted it named RANN'24 @kiet. An ngo like club is also present in our college named Uddeshya which delivers food, books, clothes, donates blood to the poor childern.
Faculty :
Faculties have strong academic background, many holding Masters and Phd's degree. Many faculty members are having an average experience of teaching for more than 8years. Some of them are industry experts which allows students in gaining practical experience & prepare them for real world challenges. Some of them publish their own resarch papers.

The Real Deal: My Honest College Review
Placement Experience :
The placements in the current time are not good as the college was closed for an year but yes companies do visit the campus and recently a job fair was also held in the college in which many students got placed. companies like TCS, Cisco, Paytm, ShadowFax, Cognizant and even Amazon do visit the campus but placement ratio isn't very good. After degree I will look for off campus placements along with the campus placements expanding my job chances.

Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus selection. Amazon , Cabgimini and Accenture are some of the large recruiters they recruits students with good package. Highest package is 55LPA . Average package is about 450000LPA. Almost 70-75% of students getting placed. My plan after taking degree is to develop a gaming application.

When I pursued the course, I was very scared as to how it would happen and what would happen, but our star faculty made everything possible and completely eliminated my fear of B.Tech.And also prepare for the exams so that we do not face any problems in future, always do your best for us

There is a good placement in this college. There are many companies arriving in the campuse for the placement of students. I am student of bachelor of technology ( computer science engineering) so I knew about it only the placement start from 3rd year in this college. The percentage of getting placement is 60% of the total students.

Students as I asked from my seniors it was after 5 th semester they were eligible to sit in placement rounds but your image should be good and no bad record like low attendance and all. Companies like TCS, WIPRO and FLIPKART visit us for campus placement and students can apply for off campus placement average was 7.5? lkh this year last year it was 8 lkh per annum and 75 % students were placed this year .

There are on campus placements provided by our college the average package in our college is around 6 lakhs per annum and median package is around 4.5 lakhs per annum... However the large amount of packages shown in advertisement are of off campus placements...
