I have been studying for more than 6 months now and the infrastructure is best. It has all the necessary equipment such as well-equipped chairs, projectors, and centralised air conditioning throughout the college. One has all the necessary items required for comfortable studying in the classroom. In fact, students can charge their mobile phones if urgent. The campus is equipped with wifi. The food is not that great in the canteen.

The 5 year couse is divided into 10 semesters and in each semesters you have to appear for internal exams (within college) and external exams (university level) they are easy to pass and usually follow a pre-set pattern.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BBA LLB because I always wanted to be an advocate. I was very clear about it. I chose BBA because I come from a commerce background. I was into management (in the future planning to do MBA maybe). The faculty-to-student ratio is excellent in VIPS, around 1:50. Most of the law professors are ex-DU students as well as ex-DU professors. They teach very well, rather than just theoretical knowledge. Mere plain reading is avoided. The case laws are demonstrated with roleplay and dramas. Also, they are very well-experienced and versed in the concepts. Exams are of two types- internals & externals. Internals are 30 marks usually 2 months after the semester starts and end-term are of 75 marks after 3-4 months of the semester. We only gave online externals so can't say much, but the internals is pretty moderate. With a few hours of study, anyone can pass (around 20).

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college provides very new streams that will lead in the upcoming years for example AIDS, AIML, and IIOT. CSE is also introduced in the year 2022. This college has lots of potentials. The faculty to students ratio is quite good. There are many subjects for which more than two teachers are assigned by the college also there are only four streams which are approx 450 students or lesser and the faculty count is 120 including lab assistants, librarians and other non-teaching faculties for one building of BTECH. Most faculties have doctorate certificates from renowned institutions in India. The faculties are good at teaching. Of course, you should be attentive and listen to the faculties for getting good scores in exams. Some faculties are strict while some are not. After a unit completion, there is a test for that unit and an assignment too.

Ques
Which is better for a BCA: Maharaja Surajmal or VIPS in terms of placement?

● Top Answer By Karuna Jaiswal on 02 Jun 21

Ans
According to one of my friends at VIPS, it is much better than Maharaja Surajmal. They both are affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). So essentially, the core study structure will be more or less similar at both institutes. But VIPS is known to have a better faculty, infrastructure, and placements. Your first year at VIPS will go like a breeze with the smooth conduct of academics as well as extra-curricular activities.  Categories BCA at Maharaja Surajmal BCA at VIPS Total Fee 2.59 lakhs 2.59 lakhs Placement Percentage 70-80% 80% Highest CTC 17-18 LPA 12 LPA Average CTC 3-4 LPA 3-4 LPA Recruiting Companies IBM, HCL, Deloitte, ZS Associates, etc. SAP Labs, Visiontek Engineers, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Ultimately, it is your choice, for your career ahead. I suggest that the better infrastructure of VIPS tips the balance in its favor. So, you can opt for VIPS over Maharaja Surajmal

Ques
Is BJMC a good career option? Which are the best colleges for a BJMC in GGSIPU, VIPS, Maharaja Agrasenor, or any other top college?

● Top Answer By Smriti Gupta on 11 Apr 23

Ans
BJMC is a graduate-level course in media or journalism that has a duration of 3 years with 6 semesters. To be eligible for admission, you must have passed 12th grade from any stream.  Admission to some colleges is based on an entrance exam, while others offer admission based on merit of 12th or graduation. After completing the course, job opportunities open up in various sectors such as TV news channels, newspapers, magazines, the film industry, corporate and marketing, public relations, and web portals. Job options after BJMC include news reporter, cameraman, anchor, film director, scriptwriter, public relations officer, marketing manager, content writer, photographer, and videographer, among others.  KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education (KCCILHE) in Greater Noida is an 'A' grade college affiliated with IP University that offers a practical learning experience, leaving no loopholes in education, extracurricular, and overall personality development. KCC frequently organizes seminars, events, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, internships, and competitions to provide students with ample opportunities for growth and learning. KCCILHE is currently organizing an essay writing competition on 'Child Labour & Ways to Prevent it' and has previously organized a webinar on 'Analyzing Media Imperialism on the World Stage'.

Ques
Is Maharaja Surajmal Institute better than VIPS for pursuing BCA?

● Top Answer By Sushrut Bhalla on 24 Jun 21

Ans
It is difficult to say if Maharaja Surajmal Institute is any better than VIPS for pursuing BCA as both are not very good institutes. Both are affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) so the curriculum followed is almost similar. As far as faculty goes, both the institutes are equally bad. For VIPS, the faculty, as well as the administration, is so bad that on average the attendance for any class would be around 50%. Class bunks are pretty common and neither the faculty nor the administration cares about it. Entrepreneurship is a non-existent word in the directory of both colleges. Startups do not get the required attention or importance which they can say proudly. As far as placements, it is also pretty bad in both the colleges and almost similar. There are only two reasons for choosing VIPS over MSI – VIPS offers air-conditioned classrooms and campus which is helpful in the hot climate of Delhi. The food stalls outside of VIPS are great and would definitely suit your taste buds during your stay at the college. Apart from that, there are no real reasons or arguments in favor of either them being superior over the other.

Ques
Which institute is better for learning the German language in Hyderabad Osmania University or Vivekananda Institute of Languages Ramakrishna Math?

● Top Answer By Satyaki Dara on 04 Oct 21

Ans
RK Math offers the best learning experience not only in German but every other foreign language.  The reason for this is the discipline with which the faculty teach the lessons. They are very experienced and dedicated.  The institute offers classes in three batches every day so that the classes do not get crowded.  The fee for the course is only 1200 rupees including the cost of books, so on the cost front, it is the best place. However, It is advisable that if you don’t have any financial problems then you should apply for Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad. To get into this you have to appear for an entrance test.

Which is better for a BCA, MSIT 2nd shift or VIPS 2nd shift?

● Top Answer By Souvik Ghosh on 07 Jul 21

Ans
Both MSIT and VIPS are very good colleges and both of them have their own advantages. Having to know some people studying in both the institutes, I can share some details about them. MSIT : The faculty of MSIT is talented and well experienced in their particular fields. They are also very helpful and supportive. The placement opportunities are also very good as most of the top companies visit the campus for interviews. The campus is big and has all the necessary facilities available for the students. VIPS : The infrastructure of VIPS is more beautiful and has better facilities than MSIT. The classrooms are very big and spacious and fully air-conditioned. There are various events and fest being regularly organized inside the campus which is very refreshing for the students. It helps in not only academics but also holistic development. Categories BCA at MSIT BCA at VIPS Course Fee 2.59 lakh 2.59 lakh Highest CTC 10 LPA 6-7 LPA Average CTC 6-8 LPA 4-5 LPA Recruiting Companies DE Shaw, EduTrainer, Usha International, Byju’s, etc. TCS, Wipro, Godrej, TOI, etc. Both the colleges provide very good facilities to their students and the selection of a college completely depends on your interests and requirements.
