JEE-Mains paper is the eligibility criteria for this college. I got this college with 2,24,000 rank in Jee mains. i got AIML branch in 2023. Admission proccess was simple. we first have to register on GGSIPU website and then councelling starts. If we got a seat then offline document verification is done and you are all set then. Date of college openning is given and just join. I did not avail any reservation benefits but i guess there are benefits for SC,ST. 2 minor and 1 major exam is conducted in one semester. Admission process needs improvement in the time they take for councelling.
For the first year it is common for all the branches for Btech. But from second year onwards coding subjects are introduced and they are taking us towards the speciliaztion. Like I have AIML so from second year I have coding subjects like Python and Data Structures, Priciples of AI. overall teaching style is good . In our college we have 2 minor exams and 1 major exam. major exam is of 60 marks and the rest 40 marks are of internal marks these includes the minor exam, assignments, class test, attendance. Till now curriculum is good and it is inline with current market needs
Our college provides many summer internship oppurtunities but because I am in 3rd sem so i dont know much about it but all the details are given on the college website. infosys, wipro, DRDO,MEITY,GMR Airpot, Britannia are the names of some companies which gave summer internships to students.
No placements till now because Btech is very latest in this college and no batch has passed out till yet from this college. The first batch will passout in 2025 and companies are coming now for the first time for btech placements in this college. so therefore no placement records for this college as of now
for the first year i paid 1,63,000 and for the second year i paid 1,52,900. No scholarship was offered to anybody. For the second year fees. 132900 was the tution fess and 20000 was university fees. 2000 was taken for the ID card during the admission. All my batchmates have given the same fees as mine.
This college has many societies. Initio, Srijan, Aflatoon, Enactus,Code etc. there are many socities and social life is also good at vips. One main fest in conducted in the month of december by Initio society. Last year Parmish Verma came to our college for annual fest. many other events happen regularly in college. We have a dedicated library for btech in our building. Smart boards are available in every classroom. We have smart labs also.
Class consists of 60 students which are divided into two groups of 30 each. One mentor is given to each group who listens to poblems for this group and all the work is handeled by this mentor. Wether is for giving admit card or aproving medicals and raising complaints. Faculty is good. They answers to every questions and their teaching style is also good. Anyone having any problem can consult the faculty without having any hesitation.
Iit delhi is known for its excellent placement records, attracting top companies from around the world.the placement process is well organized and students typically have high success rate in securing lucrative job offer.
From 6 or 7th semester students get eligible for campus placement. Their are lot of companies visit campus every year such as TCS, atlassian, algessic india, chegg india, zenon analytics, reliance, precision industries (Dubai) and some public sector companies as well and lot more. Their are lot of offers made such as in last year a company named atlassian gives a higest package of 59.91 lpa to a cse student and average package is around 6 lpa.so overall placement is decent and varies year by year. As university doesn't provide the percentage placement list but this year, I've heard that 13% was ece placement, and the civil and electrical placement was very decent compare to others. My plans after degree is for higher studies from abroad or IIT'S .
the placement oppurtunity is very low in our collage . you have to put efforts by your self to get placement. If i could not get placement if will go for masters in mtech. only 50% students get plcacements.
The relevance of my course in present scenario is awesome. The it industry demands engineer in their company. But if you will rely on college studies then you will not be able to compete others . So try to explore new things yourself
They have need increase other activities such as competitions of sports, activities, reading activities, marketing strategies, etc. they are conducting exams very good, much there are no. Of exams per year so they have to less it
The curriculum of Jawaharlal Nehru University for Bachelor of Technology is the same as another technical university (IIT's, NIT's, IIT's, other GFTIs). Here we have a computer and electronics lab that pays a crucial rule for one's college. The syllabus was decent and up to the mark.
From 4th semester students become eligible for the campus placement The companies which visited are quite good they are not bad they are basically on of like 8 lakh package average package because it is not a top college it is basically or normal college like we can say that TCS visits The highest packages of 20 lakh from the last year of senior has came Percentage is like 50-50 and do some students get a get to outside placement also My plan is to pursue MBA or m.tech or if I will get 20 lakh to 30 lakh package I will not purse you MBA
From 5th semester students are eligible for internships and pre placement offers. IGDTUW is quite famous for its placement records and once it was trending on twitter due to it's recession proof placement. Companies like Microsoft, Atlassian, Google, Goldman Sachs etc visit here and last year 15 students got a package of 85 lpa which was highest package and 20 lpa is average package here. The record says 100 percent placement last year and the linkedin profiles of alumini shows the same. I'm planning to get placed just after the completion of the degree or maybe getting a pre placement offers even before. After getting into a job I will improve, grow and learn.
I have did not get the placement see at but I have listen from the seniors that the placements are very good compare to the other college in this range the average package you will get here is about 22 to 2 4 lakh but you have to good in your skills like coding extra
Good campus placements suggest strong employability. If none, focus on internships, job portals, networking, and possibly further studies to enhance job prospects. Placement Statistics: Percentage of students placed, average and highest salary packages, and types of companies hiring.
