DTU's campus life is one thing I'll not regret in my life. DTU boats a vibrant campus life with numerous clubs for eg: The cultural society, debating society, robotics club, etc. It also organises many fests for eg INVICTUS, ENGIFEST, Sports Fest, Triloka and many more. DTU's library is well-stocked with a diverse collection of books and journals. It offers access to both physical and digital resources. DTU offers a range of sports facilities. If you are a sports person or like to play sports you will love it. IN DTU you get a Cricket ground,3 tennis courts, football ground, a basketball court, kabbadi court, an indoor court, etc. You can also compete with other branches and colleges.
The overall teaching is good. some faculty are very qualified and experienced and they will help you in every possible way. Their teaching is also very good and they try to make everyone understand the topic. but some are simply pathetic. I can say from my first-year experience that they will humiliate you for no reason. One of my teachers knows absolutely nothing, I still wonder how she became a teacher. No one will help you here, you have to prepare for your placement on your own. So in short profs are shit, they are arrogant, and they are here just for their duty.
The course curriculum is not at par with the current modern industry standards and requires modification. I think new courses should be introduced focussed more on practical learning and less on theoretical knowledge. Moreover, in the present practical subjects also the practicals are those which have no use when applying for ny internship or company interview, So i think the practicals should be changed in that way, so that we are able to do well in our interviews and the chances of on campus selection increase. This problem is not particularly with my college but i think all the colleges in India need to do so.
Iit delhi is known for its excellent placement records, attracting top companies from around the world.the placement process is well organized and students typically have high success rate in securing lucrative job offer.
As I have already said earlier that course content is not very relevant and needs to be upgaraded along with the industry standards. I think more focus should be laid on Industry feel and appliction learning and theory must be left behind. I think exams should take place only 2 times rather than 3. Moroever , the marking scheme should also be changed.
the placement oppurtunity is very low in our collage . you have to put efforts by your self to get placement. If i could not get placement if will go for masters in mtech. only 50% students get plcacements.
They have need increase other activities such as competitions of sports, activities, reading activities, marketing strategies, etc. they are conducting exams very good, much there are no. Of exams per year so they have to less it
