VIPS offers a plethora of undergraduate and post-graduate level courses under its four different schools, viz. VIPS Application Process 2023
Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses offered by VIPS must apply through a common entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University i.e. IPU-CET. The university allows only for online mode of application form submission.
- Prospective candidates can apply online by visiting GGSIP University’s official website.
- The online application form must be duly filled and scanned copies of all requisite documents such as passport size photo, signature etc. must be uploaded as indicated in the information brochure.
- Upon successful submission of the application form, registration ID and password is generated for use in future references.
- A sum of INR 1000 is to be paid as application fees on or before the last date. Payment can be done through BillDesk (payment gateway) using a credit/ debit card or internet banking.
- Candidates who have successfully complete application submission and application fees payment are issued admit cards for use in CET exam-hall.
- Seats are allotted during GGSIPU counselling based on marks/ rank secured by the candidate in IPU- CET.

Reservation is provided to all eligible candidates based on merit and is subject to norms set by the Government of India. Seats in VIPS are reserved as per the following norms:
- 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/Institute located in NCT of Delhi.
- 15% seats are reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute located outside Delhi.

I applied to only a few colleges including BPIT and VIPS. The course offered to me in BPIT did not align with the goals I want to achieve. Also, vips has multiple courses available, this making it great for extra curricular participation and interactions.
Read Full ReviewI had applied to Saint Mary University in Halifax, Canada for Diploma in computer science, I got accepted yet I didn't go to there the distance being the factor along with the high fees. I also applied to Amity but i didn't check the results, reason being their high fees to less placement ratio also their college is not freshers friendly. I put up other colleges such as MAIT and MSIT but I didn't qualify for them due my rank in jee mains. To get admission in VIPS you need to have atleast 1L rank in jee mains to get admission in CSE easily, you also need to have atleast 55% in PCM in 12th boards to get admission in this college through merit. The admission process is quite smooth and the teachers guide us through everything. No other entrance exam other than jee is accepted for BTech in this college

Read Full ReviewJEE-Mains paper is the eligibility criteria for this college. I got this college with 2,24,000 rank in Jee mains. i got AIML branch in 2023. Admission proccess was simple. we first have to register on GGSIPU website and then councelling starts. If we got a seat then offline document verification is done and you are all set then. Date of college openning is given and just join. I did not avail any reservation benefits but i guess there are benefits for SC,ST. 2 minor and 1 major exam is conducted in one semester. Admission process needs improvement in the time they take for councelling.

According to one of my friends at VIPS, it is much better than Maharaja Surajmal. They both are affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). So essentially, the core study structure will be more or less similar at both institutes. But VIPS is known to have a better faculty, infrastructure, and placements.
Your first year at VIPS will go like a breeze with the smooth conduct of academics as well as extra-curricular activities.

VIPS Delhi is a decent option for pursuing a BCA program. The placements are good companies like, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the campus placements. VIPS placement highlights show the average CTC for BCA to be around INR 3-4 LPA.

BJMC is a graduate-level course in media or journalism that has a duration of 3 years with 6 semesters. To be eligible for admission, you must have passed 12th grade from any stream.
Admission to some colleges is based on an entrance exam, while others offer admission based on merit of 12th or graduation. After completing the course, job opportunities open up in various sectors such as TV news channels, newspapers, magazines, the film industry, corporate and marketing, public relations, and web portals. Job options after BJMC include news reporter, cameraman, anchor, film director, scriptwriter, public relations officer, marketing manager, content writer, photographer, and videographer, among others.
KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education (KCCILHE) in Greater Noida is an 'A' grade college affiliated with IP University that offers a practical learning experience, leaving no loopholes in education, extracurricular, and overall personality development. KCC frequently organizes seminars, events, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, internships, and competitions to provide students with ample opportunities for growth and learning. KCCILHE is currently organizing an essay writing competition on 'Child Labour & Ways to Prevent it' and has previously organized a webinar on 'Analyzing Media Imperialism on the World Stage'.
It is difficult to say if Maharaja Surajmal Institute is any better than VIPS for pursuing BCA as both are not very good institutes. Both are affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) so the curriculum followed is almost similar.
As far as faculty goes, both the institutes are equally bad. For VIPS, the faculty, as well as the administration, is so bad that on average the attendance for any class would be around 50%. Class bunks are pretty common and neither the faculty nor the administration cares about it.
Entrepreneurship is a non-existent word in the directory of both colleges. Startups do not get the required attention or importance which they can say proudly. As far as placements, it is also pretty bad in both the colleges and almost similar.
There are only two reasons for choosing VIPS over MSI –
- VIPS offers air-conditioned classrooms and campus which is helpful in the hot climate of Delhi.
- The food stalls outside of VIPS are great and would definitely suit your taste buds during your stay at the college.
Apart from that, there are no real reasons or arguments in favor of either them being superior over the other.
RK Math offers the best learning experience not only in German but every other foreign language.
- The reason for this is the discipline with which the faculty teach the lessons. They are very experienced and dedicated.
- The institute offers classes in three batches every day so that the classes do not get crowded.
- The fee for the course is only 1200 rupees including the cost of books, so on the cost front, it is the best place.
However, It is advisable that if you don’t have any financial problems then you should apply for Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad. To get into this you have to appear for an entrance test.
Both MSIT and VIPS are very good colleges and both of them have their own advantages. Having to know some people studying in both the institutes, I can share some details about them.
MSIT :
- The faculty of MSIT is talented and well experienced in their particular fields. They are also very helpful and supportive.
- The placement opportunities are also very good as most of the top companies visit the campus for interviews.
- The campus is big and has all the necessary facilities available for the students.
VIPS :
- The infrastructure of VIPS is more beautiful and has better facilities than MSIT.
- The classrooms are very big and spacious and fully air-conditioned.
- There are various events and fest being regularly organized inside the campus which is very refreshing for the students.
- It helps in not only academics but also holistic development.

Amity University, Noida is better than VIPS-IP. It offers good exposure and salary packages to students. During the 2021 placement drive, more than 340 companies visited the placement drive. The highest and average CTC offered were INR 21.5 LPA and 5 LPA. With a large campus and decent facilities, Amity Noida offers a better campus life.
However, for curses like BJMC and Journalism, VIPS is better.
