I choose computer science because I love to code and I have a very much interest in web development. For every module there is a separate teacher suppose that there is 3 module in maths then there is 3 teacher for completing the module. Teachers use the green board and chalk for teaching and for complex structure teacher use projectors. All classroom have their separate projectors All teachers are well qualified and come from iit or jadhavpur like prestigious universities This is an autonomous institute So all papers and syllabi are conducted by heritage itself there is no involvement of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology. Semester papers are easy not so difficult

All the faculty members are Ph.D. and their teaching method includes practical applications which clear the doubts. Term exams are about 5 months for Even Semester and 4 months for Odd Semester as there are a lot of festivals in the Odd Semester.

Which branch can I expect to get at the Heritage Institute of Technology if my GMR is 42,769 and I am in the ST category?

● Top Answer By Darshan Sethi on 15 Mar 23

Ans
You can expect to get at any of the branches of the Heritage Institute of Technology if your GMR is 42,769 and you are in the ST category.  If you have a domicile in West Bengal, you may be eligible for admission to all branches offered by the Heritage Institute of Technology. However, if you are an outsider (i.e., a student from any state other than West Bengal) who appeared for the WBJEE exam, you may be considered a general category candidate, and the reservation quota may not apply to you.

Ques
Which college is good for a B.Tech between BVP Pune and Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata?

● Top Answer By Smriti Das on 15 Sept 21

Ans
BVP Pune would be a better choice as Pune is a technical city and plays an important factor in the placements. The city has all the MNCs and is the top place for a student for great placements. Also, Bharti Vidyapeeth Pune is among the best private Universities in the city because of the well-educated and experienced faculty and also the placement packages it furnish. Therefore, you should go for BVP Pune as it will be a better choice.

Ques
How is the chemical engineering program at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata? Please provide details about the infrastructure and faculty members.

● Top Answer By Deeksha Jaiswal on 04 Sept 21

Ans
I can assist you with the latest scenario of Chemical Engineering at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Curriculum: Being an autonomous institute, the curriculum is pretty up-to-date. Though subjects such as Petroleum Refinery Engineering, Piping, etc are missing As the institute is new, you can see the slightest change in the syllabus over a timely basis. Faculty: Maximum teaching faculties have done their Ph.D. from reputed institutes and some even have exceptional teaching qualities. There are few, who are willing to put in extra efforts for sincere students and guide them whenever possible. Labs: Almost all labs do not have a sufficient number of apparatus which leads to students performing experiments in groups. But still, the labs are pretty much sufficient and enough to clear your basic idea about the subject. Computer Labs lack modern softwares such as Aspen, ChemCAD, etc. but recently they have started introducing FLUENT and COMSOL, MATLAB, and AUTOCAD. Research Facility: You won’t see much research happening here due to a lack of infrastructure. The project lab is not very well equipped but if want do some project you are guided by the faculty. Placements: Companies like Linde, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Haldia Petrochemicals, and Voith Paper recruit regularly. There is a good aura for someone who’s aspiring to crack GATE to get into some PSU and also, who wants to pursue higher studies both in India as well as abroad. Ultimately it totally depends on you and how you use the resources provided to you for your benefit and how you seize the opportunities which come to you.

Ques
Which is better: KIIT University or Heritage Institute of Technology?

● Top Answer By Susmriti Dey on 20 May 21

Ans
KIIT has more dominance in the educational sector than that of Heritage Institute of Technology due to several reasons. Both of them are private institutions, but KIIT has more tie-ups with universities abroad for special programs than Heritage.  When speaking about education we have to keep the factors of Fees, Alumni, and Placements, etc. KIIT has emerged with great colors when compared to Heritage in almost all the stats.  KIIT has a better infrastructure and campus overall. My labs are exquisitely made and well designed.  Categories KIIT University Heritage Institute of Technology Course Fee 9.75 - 18.99 lakh 2.95 - 3.93 lakh Placement Percentage 70% 95% Highest CTC 39 LPA 10-20 LPA Average CTC 6 LPA 4 LPA Recruiting Companies Dell, JSW Cement, Tata Steel, HCL, etc. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. Heritage, when compared to KIIT, has less number of companies visiting the campus and the placement packages don’t go so high. At KIIT placements of all kinds are made and dream companies visit the university and recruit some capable students. KIIT is also better connected to the industry due to its internships and brand name. KIIT has higher exposure for the students in the market because of its wide alumni network and the recognition it has gained over the years.
