I didn't have a very good percentile in mains to get in a tier-2/tier-3 college with my desired subject, so I opted this college as I had good rank in WBJEE. The college was decent with a good ROI(back when I enrolled in the college) but now with increased fee structure it isn't worth much.
Course curriculum is up to date with latest trends. The syllabus changes every year as per the market needs, there is sufficient time between the course and exams, which makes it less hectic, AI and ML is included in the course.
Placement in CSE department is decent, they get you a job but not very promising package, you have to go off campus for good Placements, the college brings companies but not very attractive offers, even you have to find internships on your own.
At first the fees was less than 100k per annum for 4 year course the total fees was less than 400k, but the fees was increased by 50k per annum starting from this year, so now the total annual fees for newcomers is around 600k.
Campus life is not very engaging as there is no hostel for boys in the college and since the campus is very small, It gives kind of school vibes, the college closes at 8 pm, so campus life is not much entertaining, few clubs are active like, music, dancing, fashion, sports, Nss, etc.
Faculty is good, teacher's are laborious, we have 4 surprise tests as internals and 1 end sem for 60 marks, but now we have 2 surprise tests and 1 mid sem with 1 end sem of 60 marks. 40 marks come from internals
Many MNCs and reputable companies provide jobs on our college campusing few students even got 12-16 LPA jobs on campus from our college if you can prepare well with the help of facultys than I assure you ,you can get a job on campus
from 3rd year students become eligible for placements . compnies like cambaridge ,tata.ultratech, tcs . come to our collage.highest placement is 120000 and average package is 500000 . 80 percente of the students get placed .
Placement of our college is decent. In time of resccesion company came and offered good packagees . There is also pool campus placement. Many Good company such as Tejas, Wipro ... Came and picked up many students
While campus placements are one option, students also have alternative routes to employment after completing their course. Colleges negotiate with companies for placement dates, packages, and times. The placement process typically includes pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and HR interviews. If campus placements aren't offered, or if a student isn't selected, they can explore other avenues like off-campus placements, internships, freelancing, recruitment agencies, government jobs, MOOCs, or further studies.
The campus placement starts mainly from 6th semester. The campus placement is good, but this year i.e. 2023-24 the placement rate was around 52% which was 91% in previous year. The mechanical and food technology branches had the maximum placement this session with almost 80%+ placement rate, the non-core branches like CSE, AIML had very low placement rate. The highest package offered this year was 33lpa which was 22lpa previous year. The avg package was 3-4.5 lpa. After my graduation I would try for campus placement.
The place here is good enough i would not say every one gets it but every one can get it and by that i mean if u have the talent u can have the job for yourself be it amazon microsoft or any maang companies.u would never feel like i am not elegible for this or for that every one has equal opportunities this year my senior secured an internship at Microsoft for 1.25 lacs per month.
As I'm from civil engineering department and aiming for government job this college is good as per my knowledge with the low fee structure and as a matter for course curriculum this college is a auto autonomous which allows the college to modify the course structure by its own which helps the students to score good marks in the exams.
