I applied for heritage institute of technology,netaji subhas engineering college,future institute of engineering and management, Jadavpur University,techno main,techno international etc . I choose this college over others because this college is located in the central Kolkata and location is also good.my rank was not good enough to get into the college I mentioned above.exams accepted in our college is jee main and wbjee popularly known as West Bengal joint entrance examination. the cutoff for cse is around 15k in wbjee exam.
I think cse department of ours helps us to prepare for the software companies and many other higher exams studies such as mtech,MBA etc.our curriculum prepared us for software companies very well. Special aspect is mtech from iit.
As of now I don't have any idea about intership provided by our college but internship are provided by our colleges and many students are a part of it. Companies like Amazon Flipkart thought works here student form our colleges.
Form 3 year that means from 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placement. Highest package in our college is 40 lakhs in Amazon and off campus placement package is around 60 lakhs.averge package in our college is 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed is 70-80 percent. my plans after getting the degree is metch from iit or nit.
Detailed fee structure at meghnad saha institute of technology in 6.25L overall you can say it is 7Lakhs. There is scholarship such as Swami Vivekanand scholarship and Bihar board scholarship and many other scholarship are also available in our college.amount of scholarship available for Swami Vivekanand scholarship is 60000 per year. Fests are many in our colleges such as paridhi, for dance and music,for coding there are separate fests in our colleges.the fests typically held in October November December . Msit library is well known for the availability of different types of books and journals in the library. Mcl and msl are two leagues played in our college for cricket and football yearly near March.clubs are many in our college for music dance coding etc.
Faculty is to student ratio is around 1:10.faculties are very well behaved to the students and their qualification is just on another level.i thing the best faculties are from cse department and bsh department.there are four term exams known as ca 1,ca 2,ca 3 and ca4 exams in which one have to make ppts word files mcq online exams and written exams.along with there are pca 1 and pca 2 for practical and final semester exam at the end of the semester.ca exams are of 25 marks 5 marks for the attendance and 70 marks for the theory exams.pca marks comprise of 40.extrernal lab exams are of 60 marks.
Our IEM kolkata college is famous for discipline and placements record. This college is the one of the best college in placement record. Here minimum package 5lpa and avarage package is 8lpa and highest package is 72lpa.
From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. 10-20 or more companies visit our college. Highest package is about 76 lacs and average package is about 4.5 lacs which isn't bad. 70% + students get placed as freshers.
