For admission to any of the undergraduate programs, the students must appear in the JEE Mains (For B.Tech)/CUET (For B.Pharm).

The admissions will be done by following CUET Counselling. Students will have to fill CUET application form for selection to MCA programs.

How to Apply for KIET Group of Institutes?

KIET conducts the PG admission test for students seeking entry in the M. Tech and M. Pharm programs and counselling through AKTU, Lucknow. Candidates seeking admission through the Management Quota also need to appear in the PG admission test.

Candidates with a valid GATE/GPAT score are exempted from the test.
For admissions in MBA and MCA, 85% seats are allotted to students who have qualified through UPSEE Counselling. 15% are for students applying under the management quota, who will have to qualify the personal interview after being shortlisted based on the graduation merit.
UPSEE forms would be available online and the candidates must go through the UPSEE information brochure to understand eligibility and criteria for the exam.
The UPSEE Entrance Examination fee is INR 1300 for Male/Transgender candidates of General & OBC category and INR 650 for Female/Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories /SC/ST candidates.

The Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics has been developed with the collaboration between KIET and Mercedes Benz India Pvt. Ltd. It is a one-year long course with a fee of INR 90,000.

The subject matter of the course consists of the Mechanical Module, Electronics Module, Advanced Automotive Systems and on the job training.

Admission will be done through an entrance exam based on Basic Automotive, Basic Electronics, Analytical Reasoning and Numerical Ability.

KIET Group of Institutions Scholarships

KIET offers the following scholarships to its students:

Excluding the M. Tech and M. Pharm courses, the students featuring in the top ten University toppers list are granted a 100% annual fee waiver for the next year.
The students securing the first and second positions in the class are rewarded with a scholarship of Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 6,000, respectively, for that year.
Students scoring 75% in the odd semester are granted Rs. 200 for the achievement.
Merit based scholarship will be granted to students seeking in the M. Tech program. The scholarship amount awarded would be 30% of the tuition fees to students with 60% marks in BE/B. Tech, 40% of the tuition fees for students with 70% marks and 50% tuition fees for students with more than 80% marks.

JSS Noida is best. It has a prime location, at the heart of NCR, surrounded by IT offices and industries. It’s easier to get coaching, placements, internships, etc. due to the locational advantage. It has a good placement record. As per JSS Noida placements of recent years, students received an average CTC of INR 5 LPA. While the highest CTC received by the students was INR 42 LPA.

Why is ABES Engineering College better than KIET?

ABES Engineering College offers better infrastructure and facilities. It has a well-structured campus. But in terms of academics and placements, KIET ranks higher. According to KIET placements, the highest CTC offered is around INR 48.40 LPA. The average CTC offered is around INR 6.03 LPA. Major recruiters such as Byjus, Capgemini, TCS, etc. take part in the placement drive.

Is the ECE branch placement at ABES Engineering College better than at KIET?

KIET offers better placements for ECE compared to ABES Engineering College. Although the number of core companies visiting the campus placement is less in number, the salary packages offered are good.

According to the recent highlights of KIET Ghaziabad placement, around 80% of students from ECE get placed from ECE, each year. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 3-4 LPA. Wipro, Accenture, Tata Consultancy, Byju’s, etc. are some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.
