For admission to any of the undergraduate programs, the students must appear in the JEE Mains (For B.Tech)/CUET (For B.Pharm).

For B. Tech program: the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one of the following: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.

For admission to any of the postgraduate programs, the students must appear in the GPAT exam.

The admissions will be done by following CUET Counselling. Students will have to fill CUET application form for selection to MCA programs.

How to Apply for KIET Group of Institutes?

KIET conducts the PG admission test for students seeking entry in the M. Tech and M. Pharm programs and counselling through AKTU, Lucknow. Candidates seeking admission through the Management Quota also need to appear in the PG admission test.

Candidates with a valid GATE/GPAT score are exempted from the test.
For admissions in MBA and MCA, 85% seats are allotted to students who have qualified through UPSEE Counselling. 15% are for students applying under the management quota, who will have to qualify the personal interview after being shortlisted based on the graduation merit.
UPSEE forms would be available online and the candidates must go through the UPSEE information brochure to understand eligibility and criteria for the exam.
The UPSEE Entrance Examination fee is INR 1300 for Male/Transgender candidates of General & OBC category and INR 650 for Female/Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories /SC/ST candidates.

The Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics has been developed with the collaboration between KIET and Mercedes Benz India Pvt. Ltd. It is a one-year long course with a fee of INR 90,000.

The subject matter of the course consists of the Mechanical Module, Electronics Module, Advanced Automotive Systems and on the job training.

Admission will be done through an entrance exam based on Basic Automotive, Basic Electronics, Analytical Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
The qualified students will appear in a personal interview and based on that, final selection will be done.

KIET Group of Institutions Scholarships

KIET offers the following scholarships to its students:

Excluding the M. Tech and M. Pharm courses, the students featuring in the top ten University toppers list are granted a 100% annual fee waiver for the next year.
The students securing the first and second positions in the class are rewarded with a scholarship of Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 6,000, respectively, for that year.
Students scoring 75% in the odd semester are granted Rs. 200 for the achievement.
Merit based scholarship will be granted to students seeking in the M. Tech program. The scholarship amount awarded would be 30% of the tuition fees to students with 60% marks in BE/B. Tech, 40% of the tuition fees for students with 70% marks and 50% tuition fees for students with more than 80% marks.
