The Institute offers a two-year full-Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program which is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). In addition, IEM Kolkata offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program which is approved by AICTE.

IEM Kolkata BBA and BCA Admission 2023
In addition to the Engineering programs, IEM Kolkata offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) at the undergraduate level. Both the UG programs are offered with the duration period of three years.
To be eligible for admission to the BBA and BCA programs, candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in Class XII and X. For the BCA program, candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination with English and Mathematics / Computer Science/Computer.

IEM Kolkata M.Sc Admission 2023
At the postgraduate level, Institute of Engineering & Management also offers Master of Science (M.Sc) degree program in the field of computer Science. The the duration of M.Sc program is two years.
For M.Sc CS, candidate needs to at least 55% marks in Graduation with Computer Science / Applied Physical Sciences / Mathematics / other allied subject under Statistical or Mathematical or Computing Sciences as one of the main subjects of study.

The eligibility is 12th Pass in PCM. Admission was done on the ranks of the WBJEE exam. There were rounds of counselling through which seats were allocated.No reservation being a private college. There is also a management quota in this college.

Eligibility for the course is very simple. If should have scored at least 60% in your board examination. Clear the WBJEE entrance exam with a good rank (3000-4000) and get admission after counselling. One can also take admission through management quota. The admission process is quite simple. I took admission through wbjee at is organized for admission to the best Bengal btech college. In the month of January last or February start exams ka organized. After that according to the marks and your preference fill out the counseling form and then you have to go through the counseling process and admission.

Admission process is on the basis of WbJee rank card.There is no Reservations for other states students. Only students from West Bengal can avail the benefits of reservation.The application form of wbJee is came in the month of April most probably. And exam will be held in May. For admission in Btech, the candidate must qualify 10+2 examination with the science stream. Selections are then done through WBJEE and JEE mains. The range of WBJEE marks varies every year. But it is safe if you score 85 to 100, then you can get IEM easily.

Is there anything good about IEM, Kolkata for a BTech? Will we get any extra advantage studying in IEM?

A friend of mine did her BTech from IEM Kolkata and now she is working as a Cyber Security Analyst in a big firm. Here are a few things that she experienced in her duration at the college.
Unnecessary Rules: Students often complain about the unnecessary discipline enforced by the college to attend all of the lectures and seminars irrespective of their choice and usefulness.
Faculty: In terms of faculty, there is a mix of average and good professors. But most of the good professors are moving to different colleges.
Placements: In the terms of placement, the data may show it as amazing but in reality, most of the students of IEM end up in mass recruiting jobs offered by any IT company. Only a few of the students end up in good companies.
If you are choosing IEM try to make the most of it. Other than college learning, try and take up some extra courses such as coding or hacking and security, it will help a lot. There are a handful of helpful faculties at IEM. Interacting and working with those professors will help a lot in going good places.
Learn to utilize their time and learn new things. Learn something new and read as much as possible. If you are not happy with campus placements then you should look for off-campus placements as well.

IEM and UEM are under the same group of management, which is IEM group. Here are some of the differences between the two institutes.
IEM follows the syllabus of MAKAUT. UEM follows its own syllabus as it is autonomous. However, around 80% of the syllabus is similar to MAKAUT.
IEM takes admission through WEJEE and the required cutoff is high. Getting admission at UEM is comparably easier. It takes admission through IEMJEE.

Grey trousers and a white shirt with the IEM monogram on the pocket.
Dark navy blue tie (Optional for general days)
Black shoes (any sneakers with a decent color are also acceptable but no chappals).
It has an official blazer for winter, but you are free to wear any sweater or jacket you want.
Kito shoes are also permitted on rainy days.
They now have IEM bags and belts as well.
The dress code at IEM is very strict. You must maintain that from first to final year.
