i took b.tech course here as the faculty is good and quite experienced . most of the faculty is a doctrate holder or is pursuing phd .the studends to teacher ratio is about 60:1 as each class of 60 students has its own class advisor . also there is strictness in interenals as you have to work har to get good marks which also generates a feeling of responsibility . the terms are held timely and it is moderate in terms of scoring.

I chose IT because I have a passion for it and it has good placements. Faculty: student ratio in our college is 1:25 which is pretty good. teachers pay good attention to students. Faculties are well qualified. majority of them are Ph.D. holders and have vast teaching experience. they are quite friendly and teach in a very good manner. they are always keen to take doubts. term exams are very chill in our college. one can easily score good marks by studying 1 week before exams.

- I chose this course because I love coding, and I want to become a full-time software developer in the future. -The Student-faculty ratio is 2500:100. - Most of the teachers are Ph.D. qualified, and some of them have master's degrees. The method of teaching is very chill, they are very supportive towards the students and help them to motivate. - In My College midterm examinations are usually after 2 months from the beginning of the semester and there are end-term examinations usually after 4 months from the beginning of the semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The IT department is one of the best departments in our college. The teachers/seniors of our department are very accommodating. The number of students enrolled in this course is limited. The faculty/Student ratio is around 1:25 in the IT department. Most faculties are PhD holders and the rest are post-graduated in their respective fields. The teaching methods are unique and equipped with resources. The exam was fairly difficult. Teachers had covered almost all of the syllabi in the assignments and case study so the exams were not so difficult to crack. The college-given books and Akash modules were also of great help during the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have keen interest in the Electrical Department as it relates to the core Electrical unlike ECE which deals somewhat in electrical as well as coding.Further this department has a very good faculty because it is more of practical based and there is a good interaction between the professor and the students.Talking about BVCOE,the faculty student ratio is about 5 students and 1 faculty. All the faculty members are well qualified in their fields and have a great teaching experience of 10+ years. Some have also played a role in the publication of their books in their particular field. talking about exams,it was rushed no doubt as we were the covid batch so the semesters were cut short and we needed to study quite hard. But we managed because the study material provided to us was sufficient.

Ques
Is it worth joining Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Delhi?

● Top Answer By Sapna Ghose on 17 Jun 21

Ans
BVCOE Delhi, is certainly not one of the best colleges out there, but it is pretty decent and rewarding. Whether it is worth joining BVCOE or not depends on your attitude. You will get to meet students who hate the college and whine about it. You will also get to meet people with a positive attitude irrespective of the limited resources present at the institute. I know some people from BVCOE, who have gotten into Ivy League for graduate studies, some people are working at top companies like Google, Amazon, and other good firms. There are students of BVCOE who are doing wonders in research & development. Here’s a brief insight into the institute. Placement percentage 86.53% Highest salary 34 LPA Average salary 18.5 LPA Median salary 5.1 LPA Major recruiters IBM, HCL, Vodafone, etc. You’ll meet all kinds of people in this college. It all depends on how you sail through your B.Tech journey. Everything depends on your attitude.

Ques
Can I get admission in MAIT or BVCOE CSE in spot counselling with a rank of 2,900 (outside Delhi general)?

● Top Answer By Soumik Dasgupta on 18 Jun 21

Ans
It is rather difficult to get into any of these colleges for CSE with a rank of 2900 (outside Delhi). Your admission in MAIT or BVCOE entirely depends on how many students turn up on the day of spot counseling. Circumstances have to play a major role in your favor. If any student withdraws their admission from the same branch then you might end up getting CSE here. Here are the recent cutoff trends at these institutes. Institute Cutoff MAIT 27611 (JEE Main), 2806 (IPU CET) MSIT 66029 (JEE Main), 19804 (IPU CET) BVCOE 46949(JEE Main), 24618(IPU CET) Although MAIT is too difficult for you to crack with this rank, you might be able to secure a seat in MSIT or BVCOE if you opt for CSE Evening.

If your interest lies in computer science or you are as ardent in getting it as most of the people around then choose CSE at Bharti Vidyapeeth under IPU. Ques
What should I go for, MAIT, BVP, or AIT CSE?

● Top Answer By Sanjukta Bose on 02 Jul 21

Ans
Before choosing a college, you should consider things like - Infrastructure, fee structure, faculty profile, placements, coding culture, the branch of interest, extracurricular activities, distance from home, etc. All these colleges are affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. AIT, now known as AIACTR, is a government college while MAIT and BVP are private colleges. If we compare only private colleges, then the preference order will be as the following. BVCOE can be ranked higher in terms of academics. In terms of placements and co-curricular activities, MAIT deserves a higher position. If we consider the coding culture, MSIT can be ranked higher. Here is a comparison between government colleges and private colleges: In government colleges, the fee is almost half that of private colleges. Hence, it provides relief to people having financial problems. The facilities at government colleges are not at par with private colleges. The facilities are usually of poor quality. In private colleges, even if the college lacks certain facilities, the reforms are quick whereas in government colleges, it takes a lot of time and you might spend half of your college life without availing of such facilities. The quality of teaching is very important to note here. In government colleges, most of the teachers do not teach at par the required quality. Based on what I heard from my friend I will say the preference order should be - MAIT>BVP>AIT.

Ques
What should i choose IT BVP or IT MSIT (GGSIPU)?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Sharma on 02 Jul 21

Ans
One of my friends studied at BVP and his experience was really good there. You should go for IT at BVP. BVP is the most active technical college of IPU. They have a lot of active societies while CSI and IEEE and have many coding competitions frequently. Though IT at MSIT also has good facilities, it is not good and does not make any efforts for the welfare of students. Categories IT at BVP IT at MSIT Course Fee 5.11lakhs 4.69 lakhs Highest CTC 10-11 LPA 13 LPA Average CTC 4-5 LPA 4.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Byju’s, TCS, L&T, GE Digital, etc. Microsoft, Josh Tech, ZS Associates, Optimus, etc. Let me tell you that even though my brother was in MAIT, he got his first internship through BVP rather than his own college. Go for BVP without thinking any further.

Ques
I am getting EEE in MAIT on merit but in 2nd shift and BVCOE in 1st shift. What should I take?

● Top Answer By Malini Thakur on 30 Jun 21

Ans
My friend from school used to be a student of MAIT and he is of the opinion that the campus and the life it promises are much better than those of BVCOE. The faculty of MAIT is lenient and the students get ample freedom. However, the same cannot be said for BVCOE. The latter institute also falls short when it comes to the crowd in both institutes. Speaking of academics, both MAIT and BVCOE are more or less on an equal footing. Coming to the second shift, now, as far it is concerned, it is suggested to take the timings and the distance between your home and the college into consideration. My friend chose the first shift because you will be able to get off earlier.

Ques
Should I choose BVP or MAIT?

● Top Answer By Roshni Roy on 07 Jul 21

Ans
Both colleges are very good in their own terms but choosing MAIT will be a better option. As one of my friends studied there. Here's what he has to say about the institute. The campus of BVP is smaller than MAIT. It is very beautiful and has much better facilities than BVP. There is enough space and places to explore in BVP to relax and hang out with friends. The food available here is not good in quality and the prices are also very high. The placement opportunities available at MAIT are much better than that of BVP. The rules are also very strict at BVP but in MAIT the rules are lenient. MAIT is also ranked higher than BVP among the IPU colleges in India. The faculty of these colleges are talented and well experienced. Categories BVP MAIT Course Fee 2.85 - 5.04 lakh 4.69 - 5.73 lakh Highest CTC 12 LPA 10-15 LPA Average CTC 7 LPA 5-8 LPA Recruiting Companies ZS Associates, JP Morgan, TCS, Phillips, etc. Havells, Bosch, HP, HCL, etc. So, after going through the above factors, it will be better to choose MAIT as your college as it provides better facilities and placements to its students.

● Top Answer By Ritvik Sinha on 21 Jul 22

Ans
MAIT will be the best option among these for a BTech in Computer Science/IT. It offers good learning resources to students. The institute has good infrastructure and library facilities. It has a good placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, MAIT Delhi average package is around INR 4.5 LPA. The highest package goes up to INR 40 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Infosys, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.

Ques
What should I choose between MSIT (CS) or BVP (IT)?

● Top Answer By Sudipta Ghose on 06 Jul 21

Ans
MSIT and BVP both are the best colleges under IP University. Both are in the top 3 list of colleges under IP University. There’s not much difference when it comes to the institutes. All the academics, curriculum, placements, internships, faculties come under IP so there is no difference in all these criteria. Both IT and CSE students get equal opportunity according to their performance. 90% of the companies are similar which visit for placements. According to the recent placement statistics the average CTC offered at MSIT and BVP are 3 LPA and 1 LPA, respectively. When coming to the subjects CSE and IT are almost the same with few different subjects. In today’s world, CSE has more demand and most people go after it. There is not much difference between the courses, so choose according to your convenience.
