I have a great interest in coding that's why I chose this course. The course is awesome. The faculties are also very good and helpful. Term exams are within 5 months. The exams can be easily passed if we have studied well.
The admission was through JEE MAINS, according to that rank list was made and then colleges were alloted. The forms are available on the official site, there is no issue with that. No improvements I want to see.
Read Full ReviewThe teaching is overall great. I am satisfied with the course too. But I would like to say that we all should focus more on practical knowledge. The exams were very soon like 3 months for a semester due to late admissions but now it is fine.
The admission process was through JEE MAINS, we have 4 rounds and in my spot, I got admission to BVCOE. On the official site, we get the details. No improvements are required, just try to make the procedure fast.

Several companies visit for recruitment such as Tcs, Infosys, Newgen, saas labs, adani group the highest package can be 9 lpa and average package is around 5 lpa. As for my plans my centric goal is for on campus placement and then after getting a job i would like to take CAT exam and apply for a MBA program which would help me improve my marketing skills more.
First of all i have to be eligible for the entrance exam which is mandatory for all at my time before cuet and i was eligible as i scored a clean 89% in my 12th board exams then i applied for jee mains examination and in the third round for exact i got eligible for jee advanced though my rank was not upto my expectations and in jee advanced u wasn't able to clear the examination that somewhat broken me from inside because of all the efforts put in then i applied for ipu University allotment of college and i got Bharati Vidyapeeth college of engineering in my second round of allotment for B.tech cse then as admission process started with i grabbed the opportunity and froze my seat if there would be any improvements in the admission process then it would be a specific date for all of the applicants taking admission in college (according to me) as giving different dates just creates a lot of fuss around
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because it is demanding in the upcoming times. As it makes us understand the working and important aspects of the industry. The ratio of faculty and students is also good in this college. Most of the faculties are PhD qualified and most of the others are pursuing their PhD from the reputed colleges. The teaching methods of the teachers are also very good. They are using the latest technologies in their teaching methods for the better understanding of the students. They also provide PowerPoint presentations of the lectures to the students for their later revision.
I completed my diploma after that I chose this college to pursue my graduation degree in B.tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. It is a 4-year course. Application form for this college is released by Indraprastha University (Delhi) on their official website i.e. www.ggsipu.in. It is a reputed college with lots of facilities like hostels for female students, a parking facility, a library, a gym, a huge playground, a station, and labs for different subjects with highly qualified staff having great knowledge. The infrastructure of the campus is also very good, there are lifts in each building for the ease of staff and students, classrooms are well-air-conditioned, and labs also have working equipment and accessories for a better understanding of the students. Teachers of this college are also very approachable and always ready to help the students. Whether it's an academic issue or any other teachers are always ready to help out the students with the appropriate solution. Overall good.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course as I want to pursue a career in Computer science. Usually, there is no difference between Cs and IT. All the faculty is staff are chill nowadays. Not much attendance issue is there. They may scold you to maintain attendance but If you don't, It won't be an issue. The exams are held on time.
I took admission on the basis of the JEE Mains exam. You have to apply on the GGSIPU admission portal for cutoff and eligibility. You can visit my college's official website on Google by typing the BVCOE Delhi and can get all the information regarding fees, subjects, and placement.

Read Full ReviewBharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is a decent college in terms of faculty and placements. Professors are helpful and well-experienced. Each year around 90%-95% of students get placed through BVUCOE Pune campus placements. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 2.5 LPA - 11 LPA. The recruiters' list includes names such as TCS, L&T, Jindal Steel, Voltas, etc.
BVCOE Delhi, is certainly not one of the best colleges out there, but it is pretty decent and rewarding. Whether it is worth joining BVCOE or not depends on your attitude. You will get to meet students who hate the college and whine about it. You will also get to meet people with a positive attitude irrespective of the limited resources present at the institute.
I know some people from BVCOE, who have gotten into Ivy League for graduate studies, some people are working at top companies like Google, Amazon, and other good firms. There are students of BVCOE who are doing wonders in research & development.
Here’s a brief insight into the institute.

You’ll meet all kinds of people in this college. It all depends on how you sail through your B.Tech journey. Everything depends on your attitude.
It is rather difficult to get into any of these colleges for CSE with a rank of 2900 (outside Delhi). Your admission in MAIT or BVCOE entirely depends on how many students turn up on the day of spot counseling. Circumstances have to play a major role in your favor. If any student withdraws their admission from the same branch then you might end up getting CSE here.
Here are the recent cutoff trends at these institutes.
Institute |
Cutoff |
MAIT |
27611 (JEE Main), 2806 (IPU CET) |
MSIT |
66029 (JEE Main), 19804 (IPU CET) |
BVCOE |
46949(JEE Main), 24618(IPU CET) |
Although MAIT is too difficult for you to crack with this rank, you might be able to secure a seat in MSIT or BVCOE if you opt for CSE Evening.
If your interest lies in computer science or you are as ardent in getting it as most of the people around then choose CSE at Bharti Vidyapeeth under IPU.
On the other hand, if you are comfortable with a core branch-like civil engineering and at a college like DTU, then you should undoubtedly go with it.
Here is a brief comparison of the two institutes.
Particulars | DTU | Bharti Vidyapeeth |
Total fees | 7.81 Lakhs | 4.69 Lakhs |
Placement percent | 64% | 70% |
Highest salary | INR 18 LPA | INR 13 LPA |
Average salary | INR 7.36 LPA | INR 4.5 LPA |
Median salary | INR 9 LPA | INR 6 LPA |
Select according to your interest. Choose wisely.
Before choosing a college, you should consider things like - Infrastructure, fee structure, faculty profile, placements, coding culture, the branch of interest, extracurricular activities, distance from home, etc.
All these colleges are affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. AIT, now known as AIACTR, is a government college while MAIT and BVP are private colleges.
If we compare only private colleges, then the preference order will be as the following.
Here is a comparison between government colleges and private colleges:
Based on what I heard from my friend I will say the preference order should be - MAIT>BVP>AIT.
One of my friends studied at BVP and his experience was really good there. You should go for IT at BVP. BVP is the most active technical college of IPU. They have a lot of active societies while CSI and IEEE and have many coding competitions frequently.
Though IT at MSIT also has good facilities, it is not good and does not make any efforts for the welfare of students.
Categories | IT at BVP | IT at MSIT |
Course Fee | 5.11lakhs | 4.69 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 10-11 LPA | 13 LPA |
Average CTC | 4-5 LPA | 4.5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Byju’s, TCS, L&T, GE Digital, etc. | Microsoft, Josh Tech, ZS Associates, Optimus, etc. |
Let me tell you that even though my brother was in MAIT, he got his first internship through BVP rather than his own college. Go for BVP without thinking any further.
My friend from school used to be a student of MAIT and he is of the opinion that the campus and the life it promises are much better than those of BVCOE.
The faculty of MAIT is lenient and the students get ample freedom. However, the same cannot be said for BVCOE. The latter institute also falls short when it comes to the crowd in both institutes.
Speaking of academics, both MAIT and BVCOE are more or less on an equal footing.
Coming to the second shift, now, as far it is concerned, it is suggested to take the timings and the distance between your home and the college into consideration.
My friend chose the first shift because you will be able to get off earlier.
Both colleges are very good in their own terms but choosing MAIT will be a better option. As one of my friends studied there. Here's what he has to say about the institute.
Categories |
BVP |
MAIT |
Course Fee |
2.85 - 5.04 lakh |
4.69 - 5.73 lakh |
Highest CTC |
12 LPA |
10-15 LPA |
Average CTC |
7 LPA |
5-8 LPA |
Recruiting Companies |
ZS Associates, JP Morgan, TCS, Phillips, etc. |
Havells, Bosch, HP, HCL, etc. |
So, after going through the above factors, it will be better to choose MAIT as your college as it provides better facilities and placements to its students.
MAIT will be the best option among these for a BTech in Computer Science/IT. It offers good learning resources to students. The institute has good infrastructure and library facilities. It has a good placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, MAIT Delhi average package is around INR 4.5 LPA. The highest package goes up to INR 40 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Infosys, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
MSIT and BVP both are the best colleges under IP University. Both are in the top 3 list of colleges under IP University. There’s not much difference when it comes to the institutes. All the academics, curriculum, placements, internships, faculties come under IP so there is no difference in all these criteria.
Both IT and CSE students get equal opportunity according to their performance. 90% of the companies are similar which visit for placements. According to the recent placement statistics the average CTC offered at MSIT and BVP are 3 LPA and 1 LPA, respectively.
When coming to the subjects CSE and IT are almost the same with few different subjects. In today’s world, CSE has more demand and most people go after it.
There is not much difference between the courses, so choose according to your convenience.
