Read Full ReviewI chose B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation engineering because this branch teaches us about electronics and instruments which is our future also. Faculty is to student ratio is average which is almost 1:20. Faculty members here are very well qualified and almost everyone has a Ph.D. degree. They use both conventional and modern methods for teaching. Exams here are conducted regularly and are moderately difficult.
Read Full ReviewComputer Science and Engineering of Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the best branches. I had a keen interest in the field of computers so I opt for it. There are very good faculty in the CSE dept., and most of them are passed out from different NIT or IIITs having Ph.D. in their field. Most of the professors are very good in their field and are part of some research work. I found them helpful in need always. 200 students are divided into 3 sections for theory classes and divided into 6 groups for Laboratory classes. Apart from the end-semester exam 3 class tests and 2 lab exams are there. Class tests are not very difficult as topics discussed in class are there in question. If someone stays in touch for the semester they can score 8.5+ cgpa.
