Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET) Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, established in the year of 1952, is an autonomous government engineering college which is affiliated to Anna University. The college offers several courses in BE, ME, and MCA. The BE Program is available to candidates in full time and part-time mode while on the other hand, ME and MCA are full-time courses.

The admissions are based strictly on merit for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs. There are seat reservations for those belonging from ST, SC, OBC and Physically Challenged Category. Indian Actor J.K Riteish and Padma Bhushan holder Ganapathi Sthapthi are few of the notable alumni of the college.

ACCET Karaikudi Admission

Admission to this college is based on merit and entrance-based modes. To secure admission in the college, you need to meet the basic eligibility criteria of the college. The right to admission rests completely in the hands-on the college and students must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission. In addition, for entrance mode, applicants need to score in TNEA for UG programs and TANCET for PG programs. Applications to this college are accepted in both online and offline mode.
