Admission Details
Students should have 75% in their 10+2 qualifying exams.
JEE rank is mandatory for BTech admission.
Students applying for postgraduate courses should have 60% in their graduation in BTech or BE.
MTech students will be selected on the basis of GATE rank.
The final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

According to the placement records NIT Uttarakhand will be a better option than UIET Chandigarh, be it CSE or EEE. Both CSE and EEE are very much in demand due to the rapidly growing corporate sector and the growing demand for Power Engineers and Telecommunication Engineers.
