AI and Data science is a growing field and IIT always provides you with tremendous opportunities so it was an easy decision to take this branch at iit. The faculty-student ratio here is very good and teachers are very supportive which really means a lot. Most of the teachers are PhD or Double Doctorate which briefly tell about their experience and expertise. Here continuous evaluation has a major chunk of grades so it reduces stress on the last days of the exam as the final exam carries only about 30-4%.

There was no personal choice of mine to select this course only. It was about 1:15 They were PhDs from foreign universities mostly. Yes, term exams were conducted thrice a semester and it was not that difficult to pass, but it was difficult to score good grades.

Read Full ReviewI choose this course because I was interested in that field and also keen to learn new things. The ratio of faculty and students was 4:1 which is quiet good. The professors were quite well qualified and had good knowledge plus teaching methods. There were 2 mid-semester and 1 end-semester exam. Exams were moderate to difficult.
Read Full ReviewThe course Curriculum is good. Some of the faculty are helping in nature and will help you as a guide in your projects. The student Size of our batch was about 500. The faculties are mostly Ph.D. holders and the teaching method is good. Exams are easier to pass and generally two minors and one end sem exam occur.
Read Full ReviewI chose the CSE department because, in the present scenario, the future of the students can be seen more in this course as there is a rapid increase in the development we are seeing in technology. Coming to the faculty there is very good and well-recognized by all. There is a unique way of teaching in every faculty member and the support they provide to the students is ultimate.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum for the electrical branch is a bit tough. A lot of courses are there and you need to study hard to maintain a good cgpa. The professors are really good and they take care of teaching.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum of IIT jodhpur is really nice. There are subjects which are of real importance and come in handy even if you are fixed to a particular domain. These help much in interview process that happens for the internships and placements.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-required. We also have the flexibility to choose minors, specializations, electives, etc, in domains in which we are interested. Almost all the faculty of the department have Ph.Ds. from IITs or some foreign universities. The teaching method is alright. Some teach from slides, while most of them use to project the tab/iPad screen and write on it(well, class strength demands a projector). For each semester, we have 2 minor tests (1 hour duration) and a major test at the end(2 hours), Quizzes, assignments, and tutorials happen from time to time. As it is relative grading, the chances of failing a course are very less(sometimes, maybe more, depending on the professor). Some may feel the academic load is more, but it isn't anything unbearable, just keep yourself up to date in all courses.
