IIT Madras Executive MBA Course Fee

IIT Madras EMBA fees is INR 13 Lacs for the entire program. The fees are paid in 4 installments i.e., INR 3.25 Lacs each semester. The amount is to be submitted at the beginning of each semester. Students who wish to apply for education loan can contact Bank of Baroda to finance their EMBA program.

IIT Madras Executive MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility to apply for the Executive MBA:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
Candidates must also have at least 3 years of work experience.

Note: There is a 5% relaxation in eligibility for SC/ST/PwD candidates

IIT Madras Executive MBA Admission Criteria

Admission into the Executive MBA course is based on application data, the Department of Management Studies (DoMS) entrance test and a personal interview. Both the entrance test and interview shall be held in online mode.

Entrance Test Details

The entrance test is a Video Case Study Online Test.
Candidates will be shown a short video on a brand, business or a product based on which they will have to answer questions that test their basic thinking, logical and basic quantitative abilities.
The test shall be for a duration of 20 minutes and shall consist of objective type questions.
It will be held on Moodle which is an online learning management system.

How to Apply?

The admission process for the program is conducted in online mode
Candidates must visit the official admission website of the Department of Management Studied (DoMS) IIT Madras on https://doms.iitm.ac.in/admission/
Next, candidates must register themselves by providing a valid Email Id and phone number to generate the password.
After registering, login to fill the application form
Now fill the form with general and academic details and upload the necessary documents
Lastly, pay the online application fees through Credit card /Debit card/ Internet banking.

The Executive MBA or EMBA course at IIT Madras is a 24 month program which is divided into 8 quarters with classes on the weekends.
The EMBA program consists of a total of 30 courses which includes 16 core courses and 20 elective courses.
The course is divided broadly into three categories: Functional Foundation (FF), Integrative Perspective (IP), Global Leadership (GL).
The course also includes three capstone projects

You don’t need to worry about job prospects, you will get placement offers as a Business analyst or Data scientist with a similar CTC of top b-school graduates. According to the 2021 ISI Kolkata placement highlight, the average CTC offered was INR 19 LPA. Doing Ph.D. or higher studies can be difficult, especially if you are planning on going overseas. It’s better if you choose the Industrial Engineering domain. It will aline with QROR. If you are interested in Data Science or Machine Learning domain, you can consider doing some projects. Every room has LAN connectivity. You will get access to DC++, a great sharing platform. There’s also a separate computer room with LAN connectivity. You can use the computer room if you face any problems with your laptop. Each bathroom has washing machines. You can get eatable, snacks from the vending machine, inside the hostel. There’s a common room with television, magazines, and newspapers. The hostels have a sports room with carom, TT, etc. Badminton court and other sports facilities are also available inside the hostel premises.
