NIST University, Odisha offers UG, PG and PhD program in the dicipline of Engineering, Science, and Management. The fees for the flagship course B.Tech is INR 4.70 Lacs whereas NIST University fees range from INR 1 Lacs to 5 Lacs. Admission to B.Tech is on the basis of valid score in JEE Main whereas for M.Tech preference will be given to students who have valid GATE scores. Final admission for M.Tech is on the basis of OJEE counselling.

MCA	-	Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. Or Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

NIST University Scholarships

The institute provides scholarships to its students on the basis of merit. Some of the scholarships are discussed below:

M.Tech Scholarship

The institution would offer an additional Rs. 5,000 to students with a valid GATE score. They will avail the scholarship provided by the government in accordance with AICTE norms.

MBA Scholarship

30% TFW for securing a mark >=80% or 8.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.
20% TFW for securing a mark >=70% or 7.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.

MSc Scholarship

30% TFW for securing a mark >=80% or 8.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5.
20% TFW for securing a mark >=75% or 8.0 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.0.

PhD Merit Scholarship

Full-time PhD scholars would get a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 for a duration of 3 years. Note:Full-time PhD students will assist in taking lectures and labs.
Students may obtain financial aid from external funding agencies, including UGC, CSIR, NBHM, DST, DAE, and industry

Campus: NIST University has a lush green campus spread over 60 acres of land providing students with Lecture Hall Complex (LHC), a Galleria which has 2 lecture halls and a 250-seat auditorium and Atrium is a building house the maximum number of classrooms in the campus amounting to 25, 11 laboratories including the Chemistry, Physics, Engineering drawing, C-lab, Language lab, etc. and 13 faculty rooms.

Ques. Do I have to pay exam fees at end of every semester?

Ans. Yes, you are required to pay exam fees of INR 2000 per semester to be eligible for the semester examination.

Ques. Do NIST University provide hostel facilities?

Ans. Yes, the institute has separate well furnished A/C and Non A/C hostel facilities for both boys and girls.Each hostel consists of a separate mess, administrative office, hostel superintendent and caretaker. The hostel also provides Wi-Fi connection, gym, medical center. The hostel mess serves fresh and hygienic food.

Ques. Is Mess fees included in the hostel fees of NIST University?

Ans. No, mess fees is not inclusive in the hostel fees. You are required to pay the mess fees of INR 3600 per month separately.
