There is no set age bar for appearing in the GRE Test.

Please Note: There is a specific eligibility criteria, if a candidate is suffering from any physical disability or if the candidates wants to apply under the GRE® Fee Reduction Program (applicable only for US Citizens or resident aliens who are college seniors or an unenrolled college graduates in various graduate schools/institutes/Universities of US, American Samoa, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico).

GRE Test generally constitutes of three sections, namely Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing. There are two modes in which a candidate can attempt GRE test:

• Computer Delivered Test

• Paper Delivered Test

The Paper delivered test is offered only at regions where the possibility of delivering a computer delivered test is not there. While the Computer Delivered Test is available throughout the year, the Paper Based test is only conducted for 3 months in a year. There is one more GRE Subject Test, which is also offered for candidates planning to take subject specialization test. The GRE® Subject Tests are offered in a Paper Delivered Mode. The total duration of the exam 2 hours and 50 minutes. There are no specific timed sections. The subjects for which the GRE Subject Tests are mentioned below:
