Like every other GRE prep courses, PrepScholar also has some limitations.

Limited Resources

By limited resources, we count the practice questions, tests, essay reviews. PrepScholar GRE prep provides 2,000 GRE practice questions which if not very less, is not as high as 5,000 of Kaplan. Coming to full-length tests, it only provides 2 as compared to 8 of Princeton. But it must also be noted that PrepScholar uses ETS certified questions, therefore they are computer-adaptive.

No Mobile App

For working professionals or college going students, studying from the mobile tends to be the easiest option but PrepScholar lacks in that. Though the preparation can be accessed from the phone there is no app.

Only Self-paced format

PrepScholar has only the self-paced online format of studying unlike in-person, and live formats offered by others.

Overall, PrepScholar can be termed as one of the best online GRE prep course because of their year-long accessibility and a specific approach of teaching adaptable to everyone, and the most important – 7+ score boost guarantee. The only limitation is their less number of resources.

In case you are enquiring about the CAT percentile let me clarify that ISB Hyderabad does not take into consideration CAT scores. It accepts GMAT/GRE scores only. Most importantly, the ISB Shortlisting process is profile-based. This means even with a lower percentile you can manage to get shortlisted provided you have an excellent profile.

There is no fixed cutoff for GMAT. However, a 700+ GMAT score isn't a must-have for ISB if your application is strong in other areas. According to an ISB spokesperson, candidates were admitted to the 2021 cohort with scores as low as 580, and as high as 780. So the GMAT score range for ISB is 580-780.
