WBJEE 2020 was conducted on February 2, 2020 in two shifts. Around one lakh candidates appeared for the State Level Entrance Exam. The Maths paper of the WBJEE 2020 Exam was comparatively tough and lengthy and such errors led to heightened stress and panic among the candidates. Moreover, the queries of students regarding the questions were not rectified at that time and no official notification regarding the discrepancy in the questions came from the conducting authority during the exam. A total of four questions were found to be wrong, two of them had wrong answers and the other two were wrongly framed. Many candidates went heartbroken after failing to solve the first question of SET C. This led to a serious breakdown of the morale of the student. WBJEE 2020: Series of Mistakes

WBJEE 2020 Exam paper was conducted successfully on February 2, 2020 in both the shifts. As soon the exam ended, news of students getting confused over four questions started spreading. The paper when reached experts in various coaching institutes, they confirmed that four questions in the question paper were wrong. The questions that are claimed to be wrong are:

1. Two questions in Category 1 were provided with the wrong answers
2. In Set D, question number 31 that was from trigonometry and question number 43 that was from Three Dimensional (3-D) Geometry were wrongly framed.

Category 1 questions were one marker questions so they were not much worried about if the candidate did the other questions perfectly. The other two questions carried two marks each and because of the high competition amongst the students, losing four marks to errors in the question paper was like a big blow to the candidates. Experts and various students claimed that the above mentioned questions were wrong. Many experts from various coaching institutions came to the rescue of the candidates and claimed that the questions asked were wrong on their own and the candidates didn’t have to blame themselves for not being able to solve them.
