CBSE Class 12 Physics Practical 2022 consists of a total of 30 marks and the theory paper consists of a total of 70 marks. The Practical section holds significant weightage for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams. Class 12 Physics Syllabus for Practicals allow students to apply the concepts taught in controlled scenarios. Getting a good score in Class 12 Physics Practicals allows students to boost their marks, thus achieving a good overall score as well. Two experiments (8 + 8 marks) will be asked from each section in Physics Practical Class 12 exam. The experiment and viva will consist of 7 marks each.

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE has released specific instructions for schools to conduct Class 12 practical exams. The Class 12 practicals are to be held online. In case of absent students, separate guidelines have been issued:
- The practical examination of all the students is to be conducted by the students' original schools from where the LOC was submitted.
- The schools will ensure the safety concern of their students by following the COVID 19 guidelines.
