Preparation Tips

CBSE 12 Accountancy Exam 2023: Preparation Tips

Accountancy subject has two parts – theory and practical. The theory part required learning while the practical part needs practice. Students are advised to follow the tips mentioned below to score well in their CBSE class 12 Accountancy paper:

  • Theory: In order to be able to solve maximum accountancy problems, it is important to get a good hold of the theory first. Go through the definitions, meanings, concepts, and explanations, and then move on to the application part.
  • Study Process: Accountancy requires a good amount of practice on a regular basis. Students should make themselves familiar with the concepts of Bookkeeping, Ledgers, Balance sheet, etc, and solve as many problems based on them as possible.
  • Presentation: As much as the answer itself will fetch marks for you, so will your presentation of the answer. Prepare proper tables with proper formats with appropriate labeling of the headers. Be clear with your presentation, and keep working notes properly while solving problems.
  • Practice: Periodically brush up on the memorizing part to make sure you still remember the statistical part. Practice with CBSE class 12 sample papers to understand the latest marking scheme.
