Read Full ReviewBoth PGEC and NIT Sikkim are very good colleges. But choosing NIT Sikkim will be a better choice as it is a national level college and is much better than PGEC. Being a student of NIT Sikkim, I can assure you that it will be a good choice.
Categories | NIT Sikkim |
Course Fee | 5.35 lakh |
Highest CTC | 22 LPA |
Average CTC | 8.5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, Infosys, Bosch, Crisil, etc. |
Hence, NIT Sikkim is a very good college to pursue engineering courses and its academic and placement scenario are much better than any other state-level or private college.
A senior of mine who was a student of Purulia Government Engineering College has strictly advised me not to apply for this college.
His reasons for this suggestion are listed below:
If you have got Jadavpur University, IEM, KGEC (CSE, IT, ECE), then you should stop thinking about Purulia as those institutes are some of the best.
Jalpaiguri, GCECT, GCELT, or any other government college is also a very good choice. You can also join Techno or Heritage depending on your ranking.
My senior made the mistake of joining Purulia Government Engineering College. Even if you have joined already, don’t quit working hard. The future is unpredictable.
