The placement system is updated nowadays. We have a different placement cell team to contact the recruiter. And offline campusing are alap there. Out of 65 more than 50 people are working for different companies like TCS, INFOSYA, CAPGEMINI, COGNIGENT etc.

there are internship opportunities also available but few options as our college is in a remote location not such internships happen but if you are aware enough you also get a chance to be admitted into an internship.

Hence, NIT Sikkim is a very good college to pursue engineering courses and its academic and placement scenario are much better than any other state-level or private college.
A senior of mine who was a student of Purulia Government Engineering College has strictly advised me not to apply for this college.
His reasons for this suggestion are listed below:
If you have got Jadavpur University, IEM, KGEC (CSE, IT, ECE), then you should stop thinking about Purulia as those institutes are some of the best.
Jalpaiguri, GCECT, GCELT, or any other government college is also a very good choice. You can also join Techno or Heritage depending on your ranking.
My senior made the mistake of joining Purulia Government Engineering College. Even if you have joined already, don’t quit working hard. The future is unpredictable.
