I chose this course for my interest in electronics and coding-related jobs. in my college faculty numbers are too low. the ratio will be 1:10 ( teacher: student}. faculties are well educated and the teaching method also not bad The CA exams are very easy compared to entrance exams.
CGEC admission was done through WBJEE rank and only domecial students can apply. There are reservation benefits available for ST,SC,OBC A,OBC B & pwd students. CSE cut off for general students is gmr under 10k. And ECE dept cut off goes under 14k gmr.

So many companies visit our college every year like contingent, L&T, and TCS. which offer students internships that help them to gain so much experience. The highest package offered to three students was 48 lakhs by Microsoft and an average package of 3 lakhs was offered to students. 50-51 students of one department get placement. After getting it I want to gain so much experience in the technical sector and get a job in a big company like Microsoft or Facebook.
Firstly, You need to clear the WBJEE examination with a good rank. I got admitted here with an 11689 GMR rank. After getting the results you have to apply for centralised counselling. You will be notified about all the documents you will need. After that, you will be informed which college you get into, and simply you go through the admission process.
Read Full ReviewThe placement and job opportunities are not good in our college. Since this is a bachelor's degree college placement drives and internships are not much evolved here. Some companies are coming like TCS, TATA, INFOSYS, ETC.
Admission is fully online mode and verification is offline mode, admission is based on merit scorecard. There is no Entrance Exam for admission. Eligibility of the course 10+2 passed with math compulsory in 10+2, with a minimum percentage of 45%. The application form is available on the website of the college. There are Reservations Benefits for Lower castes like SC/st, obc, ews, pwd students as per West Bengal govt. policy No improvement is needed as such, the admission process is easy and simple.

Eligibility is the WBJee exam, As per my knowledge you have to first appear for the H.S. exam, After that you are eligible for wbjee exam. After qualifing Wbjee exam you are eligible for admission to college If you qualify the exam cutoff.

Many students already got internships in start-ups in the previous year. Department of CSE and ECE from the 4th year onwards has the highest scope to get placed in the on-campus placements.

In Coochbehar government engineering college, there are some seats reserved for SC, ST OBC-A & OBC-B students. I am a general student pursuing mechanical engineering at this college and here admission process is much better than the other colleges.
