IIM Kozhikode MBA Admission are based on CAT score and Personal Interview. Along with this, a higher weightage to academics and diversity, and lower weightage to CAT 2022 score will be highlights of PGP Shortlisting Process in 2023. The MBA selection criteria will remain the same, where WAT is included and the interview may be conducted in physical mode. IIM Kozhikode offers Executive MBA Program at their Kochi Campus. Your brother has a fairly good chance of section as his CAT percentage is well-above the required cutoff. For 2021, IIM Kozhikode cutoff was 85 (for general category students). But the selection depends a lot on the interview performance too. So, ask your brother to prepare thoroughly for the interview round.

For GEM, the CAT percentiles required to get an interview call from IIM Blackis, FMS, SP Jain, JBIMS, and MDI Gurgaon are
- ABC and FMS: Both institutes required nothing less than 99.5. Those who get admission at a lesser percentile, usually don’t belong to the GEM category. There are many who don’t even get a call with 99.3. So to stay on the safer side, go for nothing less than 99.5.
- IIM Indore and Kozhikode: Both the institutes require percentiles around 97.5 for an interview call
- SPJIMR: This Institute has unique selection criteria under which CAT is given less value and calls are issued on the basis of the candidate's profile. The CAT percentile required in this case is less than the normal if you have a good academic profile along with work experience,
- MDI: This institute issues calls around the 96% mark.

If you are interested in liberal studies, TISS is the best brand. It is unbeatable in this field. It offers diversified courses such as Rural Development, MSW Social Work, Development Studies, etc. The faculties are great and the student exchange program is so much better.
IIM Kozhikode is a management college where 70% of the students are engineers. You will not benefit by pursuing liberal studies from here. It is suggested if you aim for TISS and prepare for the entrance exam which is the TISS-NET.
In short, for liberal studies and humanities, TISS> IIM K.
