Latest Update: IIM Indore welcomes new batch for PGP session 2024-26. The PGP batch has a total of 482 students and among them only 27.59% are females.

IIM Indore admission into the MBA program is based on the CAT exam, followed by a Personal Interview. IIM Indore cut-off for the MBA program is overall 90 percentile and sectional is 80 percentile. IIM Indore MBA fee is INR 21,17,158. IIM Indore Placements 2024 has been concluded with an average CTC of INR 25.68 LPA and the highest CTC of INR 1 CPA. IIM Indore MBA Eligibility

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for Category Students)
The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must include a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the institution/University certifying that they are currently in the final year/ awaiting final results and have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.
Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a course completion certificate issued on or before June 30 of the admission year

IIM Indore MBA Admission Criteria 2025

The selection criteria for MBA program is mentioned in detail below:

Stage 1

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and secure the minimum sectional and overall percentile required for admissions. The cutoff marks required varies for students of different categories. Only those candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to go further in the second stage.

Candidates satisfying the above mentioned requirements of Stage- I will be eligible for further shortlisting for the PI round.
Further, a composite score will be prepared using 10th Scores, 12th Scores, CAT 2024 Overall Score and Diversity Factor (DF)

International students are offered admission in the MBA program based on GMAT score followed by PI.
The interviews will be conducted in Delhi and Mumbai only.
The aspirants satisfying the parameters defined for the Interview round will be eligible for final selection.

The candidates are required to visit the official website of CAT and register.
After successful CAT Registration, proceed to fill all the necessary details
While applying for the B-schools and relevant courses, candidates must select IIM Indore and its MBA programme.
Enter the OTP and submit the application form
A message will be received containing the User ID and Password for subsequent login.
The candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria will be called for further selection procedure.
A PI round will be conducted to access the candidates for final selection.
The candidates will be notified about the final selection through a merit list declared on the official website and regret letters will be issued to the other aspirants.

ABC and FMS: Both institutes required nothing less than 99.5. Those who get admission at a lesser percentile, usually don’t belong to the GEM category. There are many who don’t even get a call with 99.3. So to stay on the safer side, go for nothing less than 99.5.
IIM Indore and Kozhikode: Both the institutes require percentiles around 97.5 for an interview call
SPJIMR: This Institute has unique selection criteria under which CAT is given less value and calls are issued on the basis of the candidate's profile. The CAT percentile required in this case is less than the normal if you have a good academic profile along with work experience,
MDI: This institute issues calls around the 96% mark.

My friend has graduated from IIM Indore and would describe the fests as massive events of celebration. The institute organizes a lot of literary and cultural events but the two main events in the year are as follows:

Atharv:

This is the cultural, literary, and management festival of IPM, organized each year.
A number of events in this one include managerial to marketing and b-plan events to literary and cultural events.
More than 1 lakh students participate in Atharv conducted for 3 days. These events can help you get some cash prizes as well.
The evenings feature musical and artistic performances by professionals in the field.

Another important fest is titled Ranbhoomi. It is the Annual National Level Sports Festival. This one is held for three days as well and the events range from Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and even Chess and Arm-Wrestling.

Yes. It is absolutely worth joining IIM Indore for the IPM Program. Though, you need to clear the IPMAT and the interviews. One of my friends had completed the IPM program at IIM Indore and here are some facts that may be useful to you.

You will have some very interesting subjects from the trinity of mathematics, social science, and performing arts. It will equip you with really dynamic skills and significant learning.
You will meet some of the best minds from diverse backgrounds in this course.
There are over 15000 applications for 120 seats. Thus, you can assume the quality of peer and peer learning.
The campus has two well-equipped gyms, an Olympic-size pool, a Finance resource centre, an Entrepreneurial incubation cell, and an Onus cashless card payment system.
Also, there are regular shuttle bus services for going into the city.
The daily schedule of the students is usually packed with classes in the morning and maybe a few more in the afternoon.
After that, there is a complete makeover, students run to juice centers, along with the Chai shops, special Indori Poha at Poha point, HUL's Adda, and many other eating points.

In the evening, things are a bit relaxed as people pursue their interests, sports or hang out with their friends. Things might be hectic on some days, but it will not be boring at IIM Indore.
