- * Miscellaneous fee includes costs for books & course materials, library fees, Student Activity Council fees and medical facility fees. Medical facility includes a dispensary at the institute where first aid and other routine medical treatment is given. Basic medicines would be provided in the dispensary. For other drugs, doctors will give prescription, which participants have to buy on their own.
- ** To be refunded at the end of the term after deducting dues, if any.
These fees can be paid either by Bank Transfer, Demand Draft or Cash. The fees are required to be paid by the day of Registration, after which late fees of INR 5,000 will be applicable.
Personal Expenses There are some other expenses which exchange students would usually incur during their stay at IIM Indore. The details of a few such common expenses are as follows:
Rent for a cab is around Rs.600, for a 4 seater car. It is Rs.1500 for an 8 seater car; this rent is for a round trip distance travelled up to 40 km over a period of 4 hrs. Extra charges are incurred for longer distances and time period.
Dinner at a local restaurant: Rs. 400-900 per person (approx.)
Mobile Phone charges: Rs.200/SIM Card + Telephone Usage charges
Other expenses could include expenses on daily used commodities bought by exchange students from local markets.

Yes, hostels are separate. Boys are not allowed to enter girls hostel but the reverse is true. A separate part of the campus for IPM students is currently being built. It will have an academic building and other resources just for them. There are 18 student residences at IIM Indore right now. There are both single rooms and rooms with three or four people sharing for IPM students. The hostels are clean and cozy. There are also residences for married people. You can play volleyball, table tennis, and badminton almost everywhere you stay. There are many places to eat near the dorms, so students can choose from a wide range of foods on campus. Extra housing is also available for students in executive classes and for the teachers, all hostels are guarded. There are no constraints on timing, the hostel fee is included in the course fee itself, it's not separate. Allocations are randomized after selections.There are only sharing rooms for IPMERs, all the necessary facilities are provided by college itself, there is a common room in every hostel. A separate part of the campus for IPM students is currently being built. It will have an academic building and other resources just for them. There are 18 student residences at IIM Indore right now. There are both single rooms and rooms with three or four people sharing for IPM students. The hostels are clean and cozy. There are also residences for married people. There are a lot of trees and grass on campus, but getting some exercise every day is easy because the classroom building is not close to the dorms. This one has more experience and is used for introductions and special talks. This one has less experience and is used for student events. For the comfort of the students, the academic building has classrooms with air conditioning, food services, and people who can help with technology. Since the school is not in the middle of Indore, it is easy for students to take free shuttle buses that go into the city. The school is easy to find because the front door has two big golden arches. Sports fans can use the chess board, the gym, the soccer tables, the basketball and tennis fields, the Olympic-sized pool, and other sports facilities. The campus is always busy with various activities that ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone. It hosts cultural, sports, and management fests such as Iris, Atharv Rannbhoomi, and Utsaha. Students also organize their own events including movie nights in the auditorium and management-focused activities. The student activity council for different programs is highly active, offering numerous opportunities for learning and practical experience. Interest groups are there, and the college environment is consistently engaged in various activities, providing an energetic atmosphere that encourages active participation.

My friend has graduated from IIM Indore and would describe the fests as massive events of celebration. The institute organizes a lot of literary and cultural events but the two main events in the year are as follows:
Atharv:
- This is the cultural, literary, and management festival of IPM, organized each year.
- A number of events in this one include managerial to marketing and b-plan events to literary and cultural events.
- More than 1 lakh students participate in Atharv conducted for 3 days. These events can help you get some cash prizes as well.
- The evenings feature musical and artistic performances by professionals in the field.
Another important fest is titled Ranbhoomi. It is the Annual National Level Sports Festival. This one is held for three days as well and the events range from Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and even Chess and Arm-Wrestling.

- You will have some very interesting subjects from the trinity of mathematics, social science, and performing arts. It will equip you with really dynamic skills and significant learning.
- You will meet some of the best minds from diverse backgrounds in this course.
- There are over 15000 applications for 120 seats. Thus, you can assume the quality of peer and peer learning.
- The campus has two well-equipped gyms, an Olympic-size pool, a Finance resource centre, an Entrepreneurial incubation cell, and an Onus cashless card payment system.
- Also, there are regular shuttle bus services for going into the city.
- The daily schedule of the students is usually packed with classes in the morning and maybe a few more in the afternoon.
- After that, there is a complete makeover, students run to juice centers, along with the Chai shops, special Indori Poha at Poha point, HUL's Adda, and many other eating points.
In the evening, things are a bit relaxed as people pursue their interests, sports or hang out with their friends. Things might be hectic on some days, but it will not be boring at IIM Indore.
