Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) Kolkata MBA Admissions 2023 are going to begin soon. Admissions to the program will be based on CAT/ JEMAT MAKAUT exam score. If you are choosing IEM try to make the most of it. Other than college learning, try and take up some extra courses such as coding or hacking and security, it will help a lot. There are a handful of helpful faculties at IEM. Interacting and working with those professors will help a lot in going good places.

IEM Kolkata is a reputed technical college in the region. But given a choice, you should take Civil/IT at Jadavpur University. JU ranks among the top engineering colleges in the country. It is well ahead of IEM, in terms of placement and opportunities.
Many core companies visit JU to recruit Civil Engineering students. The IT placement is excellent. Companies such as Microsoft, Google, etc. take part in Jadavpur University placements. During the 2022 placement drive, Facebook offered the highest CTC of INR 1.8 Crore per annum. The second highest CTC was INR 1.4 CPA, by Google.
Heritage Institute of Technology is better than IEM. It offers a better learning experience. HIT campus is among the best campuses among the technological institutes in the country. The classrooms and departmental labs are well-equipped with the latest instruments. Sports facilities are good.
