IIM Jammu admissions are currently going on. IIM Jammu MBA CAP PI concluded on March 4, 2023 and SAP PI Concluded on March 29, 2023. IIM Jammu EMBA application window closed on March 31, 2023 and for PhD admissions are currently open and last date to apply is April 30, 2023. IIM Jammu admissions are done through CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ NET/ JRF. IIM. Apart from MBA, IIM Jammu also offers an Executive MBA program. Bachelor's degree holder candidates with at least 50% marks and 3 years of work experience can apply. For the 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM), IIM Jammu offers admission to 120 students. The institute has also released the admission policy for IPM admission 2023. Students seeking admission to the same must appear for the JIPMAT exam. For the final selection, a merit list will be released on the basis of JIPMAT scores, academic profile, and gender diversity.

IIM Jammu MBA/ MBA (HA & HM) Admissions 2023

A candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the MBA and MBA (HA&HM) program. The MBA admission process includes the following stages:

IIM Jammu MBA Selection Criteria

IIM Jammu MBA selection is based on two stages. One is shortlisting the candidates for personal interview based on the minimum cut-off and the another stage is the preparation of the final merit list.

IIM Jammu MBA Selection Criteria: PI Shortlisting

There are two criterias based on which the students are shortlisted for the personal interview. One is the CAP cut-off and the other is the SAP cut-off. The candidates scoring above the minimum cut-off in CAP or SAP will be shortlisted for the personal interview

The final merit list is prepared after the shortlisted candidates have appeared for the personal interview round. The final merit list is prepared based on factors like CAT score, PI score, academic qualifications, work experience, and gender diversity. IIM Jammu MBA Admission: How to Apply?

Interested candidates will have to visit the official website of CAT or www.iimcat.ac.in and register themselves to get a system-generated login ID and password.
Then they can log in to their account and start filling out the application form with all the personal, academic, and professional details.
They will also have to upload the required documents as proof of the information provided.
In the same form, the candidates will have to select IIM Jammu as their preference.
Then can submit the form after reviewing that all the details are correct and pay the application fee.

IIM Jammu EMBA Admission 2023

The candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and a 3 years of work experience are eligible to apply for the EMBA program. The admission process for EMBA includes the following stages:

The candidates will have to fill out the application form and pay the application fee of INR 2,000 ( INR 1,000 for SC/ST/ PwD category).

IIM Jammu IPTM Admission 2023

The admission into B.Tech + MBA Dual degree program is based on JEE Mains and JEE Advanced norms. The eligibility criteria is also similar as JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced.

IIM Jammu IPTM Selection Criteria

The selection to the B.Tech+MBA dual degree program will be through JEE Advanced scores.

IIM Jammu IPM Admission 2023

The candidates who have passed 10+2 with 60% marks are eligible for IPM Admission 2023. The IPM admission process includes the following stages:

The candidates who have a Master’s degree/ Integrated Masters degree with 60% marks OR a Professional Qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with 50% marks OR 4-year Bachelor’s degree with 6.5 CGPA, are eligible to apply for the PhD or PhD working professional. The candidates can apply to a maximum of two area along with all the relevant documents.
The application fee is INR 1,000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 500 for ST/ SC/ EWS/ DAP.

Remarks:

The admission to IIM Jammu was through the CAT exam. I gave it in the year 2021 and scored 90.88 percent. I found the registration for the CAT form on their official website and it was a smooth process altogether.

Remarks:

The admission process starts with the entrance exam first you have to give CAT and the exam will be on the last Sunday of November. Results will fall on around the 2nd week of January. And then wait for the interview call if you were able to clear the cutoff. The interview call will come around January 3rd week. After the interview results will come around in May.

A rising star - IIM Jammu

Remarks:

As IIM Jammu comes under CAP call, I received CAP call. I cleared all the minimum criteria of CAT Sectionals for eligibility as I availed for OBC reservation criteria; I get calls even with lower percentile in some sectionals. I got called for EOI (Expression of Interest). Then they shortlisted the students for the Personal Interview round. PI happened online due to Covid. My interview was focused on my past, graduation, and why MBA. Once interviews were over, the college started clearing the waitlist. Here IIM Jammu doesn't show your waitlist number, and this makes everyone who is waiting for a call restless. There should be a waitlist number for students so they can take further decisions.

You should consider your other options as well. IIM Jammu is a baby IIM and it still hasn’t made its way into the top B-School list. Although it has improved over the years. IIM Jammu placements are similar to that of the baby IIMs. In 2022, the average and highest CTC offered were INR 13.53 LPA, and INR 32 LPA, respectively. In terms of return on investment, IIM Jammu is a good option. Due to the small batch size, the number of companies taking part in the campus placements is more than the number of students participating. So, students get a fair chance at getting good placements.

You should choose IIM Bodhgaya between these two. Since IIM Calcutta is the mentor institute, you will be taught by the faculties of IIM C. The placements of IIM Bodhgaya are also managed by IIM Calcutta, so you can expect good placement offers. The batch of 2022 students received an average CTC of INR 12.36 LPA.

IIM Jammu is a decent B-School. Although it is among the new IIMs, it has improved a lot over the last few years. IIM J offers a hands-on learning experience with a case-study-based pedagogy. You will get exposure to real-world corporate problems. Students get the opportunity to take part in various clubs and committee activities. IIM Jammu placements have witnessed an upward surge, over the last few years. According to 2022 placement highlights, students received an average CTC of INR 13.53 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 32 LPA.

A total 0f 119 companies took part in the IIM Jammu placement this year and offered 222 job offers. Deloitte, Amazon, Wipro, Collegedunia, etc. were among the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive. Students of the institute get recruited as Operations Managers, Area Managers, Financial Analysts, Research Associates, etc.

Ans

The program is a 6-week credit course held at the ESCP, the oldest business school in the world. The course included finance, marketing, philosophy, business environment, and many other interesting subjects. Now, this program has been replaced with the Student Exchange Program (STEP) of IIM Jammu. Under this, you will be sent to different institutes of Europe for a duration of 3-4 months. This program aims at developing better interaction, experiential learning, international connections, and a global outlook. The students will be studying in these institutes and will undertake examinations there as well. Their grades will then get transferred back to the main institute.
