• The location in itself is a USP of the college. The serene surroundings with spectacular views and fresh air attract many nature lovers.

So if your expectations are low regarding placements and facilities, IIM Visakhapatnam is the best new IIM you can go for.

At IIT Madras, you have the privilege of having taken a course in R&D Management at the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) at the institution.   • ROI: NMIMS does not offer a good ROU because of its high living expenses. Nagpur leads in this aspect because of minimal living expenses, lower fees than other IIMs, and similar packages.
  • Placements: NMIMS has developed a strong alumni base and therefore attracts many top firms. But like I mentioned above, 80% of the batch is offered average roles. It’s only the ones with spectacular profiles that get the best roles. IIMs have a balanced placement scenario in contrast.
  • Brand Value: Despite the unending debate, one cannot deny the brand value of the IIM tag. There are certain HRs from top organizations who still prefer IIM students over other top B Schools. This is the sole reason why the new IIMs give an edge to B Schools like IMT, SIBM Pune, etc.
