Reva University B.Tech Admission 2023
The university provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Technology Lateral (B.Tech Lateral) degrees to their students at the graduate level. The course duration of B.Tech is 4 years while B.Tech (Lateral) or the lateral entry needs 3 years to get completed.
Reva University offers five specializations in Bachelor of Technology, that are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The specializations are similar to the students who take lateral or second-year entry in the B.Tech.

Reva University UG Admission 2023
Along with B.Tech, the university provides various courses at undergraduate level namely: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Science (BS), Bachelor of Laws (B.A-LLB), BBA-LLB, and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) with various specializations.
B.Arch, B.A-LLB, and BBA-LLB take 5 years to be completed, whereas, duration of B.Com, BBA, and B.A is 3 years. Bachelor of Science (BS) takes 4 years to complete.

Reva University M.Tech and MS Admission 2023
Reva University also offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (MS) at the postgraduate level for the candidates looking to make a career in the field of technology. The university offers 14 different specializations in M.Tech whereas MS has only one specialization i.e. Computer Science.
All of the M.Tech programs take 2 years duration at the PG level except Computer Science (Part-Time) and VLSI & Embedded Systems (Part-Time). These two M.Tech specializations take 3 years to be completed. MS program in Computer Science also has 2 years of duration periods.
Candidates intended to get an M.Tech degree from REVA University, need to appear PGCET exam, which is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Reva University MBA and MCA Admission 2023
Reva University also offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) with Lateral entry at the postgraduate level.
All three courses are offered with a single specialization. The MCA program has 3 years of durations while the Lateral entry of MCA has a duration of 2 years. The duration of the MBA program is 2 years.
Candidates intended in the MCA program have to appear in the PGCET entrance test, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Reva University also provides M.A, M.Com, and M.Sc program at Postgraduate level. The university offers two specializations in Master of Arts (MA), that are English and Journalism & Communication. Yes, I have written the entrance exam in which I got a 20% concession. So better to have an entrance exam. So I use to get concessions. If you are from Karnataka the fee will be less when compared to the other states.

I went through Kcet. I got into this college in 3rd round. They also have the Reva cet which is free of cost. The admission for non-cet is around 4-5 lakh per year. Through cet it is around 1.2 lakh. Through comedk it is around 2lakh per year.

I got into this college from CET. The Common Entrance exam for admission to UG in Karnataka. After I got the confirmation of the Allotment to college, we paid the prescribed fee and I joined the college. The admission process was easy and we had to fill out some Applications and submit the required documents.

There is an entrance exam for the state through which they can join this college and the college has its own entrance exam which is called Reva-cet which has a different fee structure than compared to the normal state entrance exams.

Remarks:
Admission process was really easy and fast and it was all done online,we can be eligible to this course in three ways one is through KCET,another is through COMEDK , and the last way is through MANAGEMENT QUOTA of course which costs a lot and is the easiest way in. The application form was provided in the collages website and it is available in college too no worries.

Remarks:
The admission process was very smooth. The eligible criteria were to get 60% or above in the 12th exam. The application and fee structure will be provided in the Admin block. Reservation benefits are not availed for degree students, but you can still apply for a scholarship which will be guided by the University. As I said the admission process goes in a smooth and easy way. The good education system and infrastructure. Go for it.

I have studied here for 4 years the crowd is just like in Delhi because the campus is small(Now they building new blocks). But in a branch you can find a minimum of 3 branches, I think they have extended it to 5 now in every branch. Each section has a minimum of 150 students so just think of unemployed graduates who will be producing from Reva and even other colleges. The faculty will be good and even the management is nice and help you in moments. But you will hardly find time for that because most of the time you will be held up in classes if not in the canteen. You can see many graduates as faculty because if you do Mtech from Reva and have a good score you are hired.

Your chances of growth get lowered at Reva University. If you have a good rank, consider other colleges.
The university has invested a lot in marketing and that is why there’s hype outside.
Opt for colleges that have a lot of clubs and committees and focus gives importance to cultural activities as well. REVA University lacks this. This will not only develop your personality but also improves your CV.
It is a deemed university and the curriculum is not much updated. You will get less opportunities at the university
The student crowd is not good, and the people of the college are not cooperative at all.

My cousin is an alumnus at REVA University. According to him, it is just another average university. Being a new university, most people are not aware of its presence.
REVA University has excellent campus facilities and it offers a calm environment. The faculty members are well-qualified and average in terms of teaching. Branches like CSE have an industry-oriented syllabus and you will be offered great exposure.
Karnataka State Universities Rating Framework (KSURF) has ranked universities on various parameters. Among the young universities, REVA University has been ranked at 3rd position in Karnataka. It is ahead of Presidency University and Dayananda Sagar University.

If there is one word to be spared, then it is above average. I know a few people from the institute and have received a mixed opinion from them. The pros and cons of the institute are as discussed below.
Pros:
The campus is amazing.
The senior faculty is renowned among students.
You can rather get somewhat good laboratories as well which are maintained in pristine condition.
At the most, there are different events going on throughout the year.
Cons:
The institution is quite a bit overcrowded.
The hostel services are deemed to be bad and pretty much expensive as well.
When paying the fees, it becomes troublesome.
The campus is located at a very remote location which makes it difficult for students to finally reach there.
Alongside all of that, if you study well, you will get good placements. Hope this helps.

How is the placement at Reva University?

Joining REVA University through COMED-K or management quota is a complete waste of money. You will be paying 3.5 lakhs per year which is not worth it. You will get many better colleges.
If you are considering it via CET, I would suggest you not opt for the university. Try for other better colleges.
The college does not publish its placement reports on its website because it is not good. You can ask about it from the seniors of the college and you will find out that only 20-30% of the students get placed.
The teaching faculties are mostly freshly M.Tech passed out students and hence, lack experience. The student intake for B.Tech is 3000-4000 students in every batch which is way higher when compared to other colleges which usually have an intake of around 900 students.

How is the hostel life at Reva University Bangalore?

Basically, the hostel of Reva University is almost the same as that of any other college but there are some additional features as well.
There are plenty of rooms with a separate boys and girls hostel.
Some rules are there that need to be followed strictly and since the list is very long so sometimes students break them.
Also, exit and entry times for girls have to be recorded regularly and after some time girls and boys cannot roam around the campus together.
There is a separate mess for girls and boys, the food is also not too good but if you have ever spent your life in the hostel, you will be acclimatized to the situation.
There is a food court near the canteen from where you can buy the eateries till 8 pm.
There are several shops also providing fast foods and bakery items.
The next thing is that the college has a functional and well-equipped library that is open till 12 midnight and 7 days.
Thus, we can conclude that the college is slowly and steadily taking its place in the heart of the students by improving certain things. Otherwise, the resources are there, the only thing you need to do is utilize them properly.

According to some of the reviews, I read online about REVA University, it is not a good university. I would suggest you reach out to the alumni or seniors of the college, as they can provide you with the intricate details.
REVA University is a new university and not as good as VTU.
It is not so tough to score marks at the university however, I would suggest you think twice before drawing out a conclusion regarding admission into the university.
The management is poor and only focuses on marketing and publicity and not on the academics and quality of faculty members.
