LPU Admission

Step 1: Register as a new user

  • Visit the official website of LPU.
  • Click on 'Apply Now' given on top of the home page.
  • Register on the LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender, and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering.
  • Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password 

Step 2: Application Process

  • Fill out the application form and select the program of your choice.
  • Upload the documents.
    • Recent Photograph
    • Matriculation Marksheet
    • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. If the applicant is claiming a scholarship on the basis of previous qualifications, he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/mark sheet. In case the exam certificate/mark sheet is not available at the time of filling out the application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted at a later date.

Step 3: Apply for LPUNEST

LPUNEST is an online test that acts as a gateway to the program you are interested in. Admission to this program is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST also acts as a Scholarship test and students can avail of huge scholarships based on performance on this test.

  • The cost of the Application form and Soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 (for Boys) and INR500 (for Girls).
  • The cost of the Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (for Boys) and INR 1000 (for Girls).

Step 4: Book the exam slot and appear for LPUNEST

  • Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam.
  • Appear and qualify for the exam.

  • Get your scorecard/ rank.

LPU Distance Education Admission 2023

Lovely Professional University, other than its regular classroom classes, also offers various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level via Lovely Professional University Distance Education (LPUDE). Ans. You can take provisional admission and confirm your seat by paying a nominal fee of INR 10,000 in all programs which would be adjusted against your program fee of the semester (except M.Sc. Agriculture and M.Pharm. Programs).

Remarks:

For the admission process, we need our documents like an Aadhar card 10th and 12th mark sheet 4 passport size photos signatures and a father's Aadhar card, and the mother's adharchar if you are in SC cast you need an Sc Certificate. The eligibility of the course is marked in the 12th class in 50% above.

Remarks:

The admission process was very simple. After completing your +12 you have to apply for the LPUNEST exam which was conducted at your lpu University and the eligibility was you have to get above 65 per cent in +12. You will find the application on the Internet. After you give your exam you get an email from the college that whether you have codified are not. After getting the email go directly to the college and submit your certificate Xerox that's it you will get admission to the college

In my College, my course Eligibility status is 60%.we found the application forms in my college admission room at ground floor. They clearly explained the fee details in before 1 month. There is no improvements in admission process.

Interested candidates can register online on LPU website by filling in the application form. Depending on the course candidate may have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the LPU or another authority. The entrance can be conducted offline or online Student have to submit academic documents such as marksheet of class 10 and 12 .

Eligibility in minimum 55% in 12th board as well as in English. You find admission details and process on admission.lpu.in after that application you have to give lpunest scholarship test which is compulsory toall the students. In this test you get scholarship upto 50%. Reservation are given to you according to your eligibility and talent in sports you get scholarship upto 80%.

Lovely Professional University is pretty good in all aspects such as academics, infrastructure, faculty, ranking, etc.  LPU has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members are alumni of IITs, IIMs, NITs, etc.  The institute has a good placement record. LPU placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 42 LPA. Major MNCs like Godrej Consumer, CEAT, Allianz, Hindustan Unilever, etc. visit the campus placement.  LPU has a good ecosystem for entrepreneurship as well. If you have a good idea, you can get seed funding from the institute.  All basic amenities are available on campus. You won’t need to go out to get anything. The campus has a central library, a shopping mall, indoor sports facilities, public and private sector banks, ATMs, etc.  LPU is one of the best private universities in the country. You can benefit a lot from attending the institute.

No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money.  I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities: During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met.  Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed.  Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent.  There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here. Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K. Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year.  You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels. Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.

Chandigarh University is the better choice among these two.  CU has a great pool of teachers. The faculties are well-experienced. You can also ask for their help any time you need it. The management on campus is great. It is one of the safest campuses in North India. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus. Chandigarh University Placement - CU is conducting its 2022 placement drive. More than 757 recruiters have made around 7500 placement offers. The highest CTC offered this year is 52.11 LPA. But CU has a strict 75% attendance policy. You will need to attend classes regularly, as there is no poxy policy.

Choosing one of these two institutes depends upon whether you want to join in North India or South India.  Placements are quite good for ECE, CSE, EEE, and Mechanical branches in Vel Tech. In 2020, the highest CTC offered in the placement drive was 10 LPA. Major recruiters that visited the placement drive were Infosys, Byjus, Capgemini, Amazon, etc.  You should note that in India other than IITs, NITs, or BITS Pilani, the other engineering colleges don’t put that much effort to enhance the skills of the students. So, you will need to make effort by yourself irrespective of which institute you choose Ve Tech or LPU.
