Merit Criterion:
For the 1st year students admitted at IIT Bhubaneswar, the scholarship is decided on the basis of scores of JEE Entrance exam and the last qualifying examination. However, the weightage for the JEE score and the last qualifying exam is 50-50%.
Means Criteria:
The annual parental income of the student from all sources should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.

The selected scholars will be exempted from the payment of the full tuition fee as a Scholarship award.
