What I Liked

I liked the way of teaching and environment
Teachers are understanding and good and they are good in nature
The college is too much large and have a lot of space

What I didn’t like

Ahhh location I dont liked the location as its too scary
The college is too far from my house and also they dont have network connection
There is no canteen there and scarcity of water sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

Just want to complete the graduation so I choosed this course as it have more scope Well i prepare for the curriculum so well The road of clg should be cleared and classes are big so voice eco in there Exams patterns are normal

Remarks:

You should be 12 th passed and have to clear the cuet exam to get admission Application forms should be founded online application fees is 10000 Exams are after every 4 months and patterns is way easy but gives a short period of time

University of Jammu a Complete Review

What I Liked

The affordability of studies every course in university is very much affordable as it is a government university so it is affordable
Affordability of food everything in university is very cheap and affordable you can get everything to eat at a very affordable rate as compared.

What I didn’t like

Strictness is not present a little strictness is must for the students to focus on their studeis
Lack of public transportation inside the University campus as you have to walk everywhere

Course Curriculum Overview:

Excellent as iam stududent of LLB apart from just theoretical knowledge we are also guided to focus more on its practical application moot court sessions are organized for real world court experience for law it is the best Institute in jammu exams are conducted after each semester of 6 months and difficulty level is normal.

Remarks:

Admission process war earlier based on JUET( Jammu university entrance test) now it had been replaced by CUET for both PG and UG non cuet seats are also available in limited no but preference is given to CUET candidates after 1 month of CUET PG results Applications were invited by the Department and cut off is quite normal in final rounds Admission can also be done on low scores in cutoff.

How can I get a transcript from Jammu University?

I have a few friends from Jammu University and according to them the process to get transcripts from the university is quite simple.

You will need to visit the administration block of Jammu University.
Get the form and fill out the details of the degree for which you want transcripts.
Attach proof of passing the said degree from Jammu University. It needs to be duly attested by your departmental head.
Submit the required fee.
Give the details of the agency or the institute where you want to send your transcripts clearly and you are done.

Your transcripts should be ready to dispatch within 15 days or so, depending on the pending work.

A few of my friends graduated from the University of Jammu. Here is their advice.

Get to know your university area well, your classrooms, your libraries, etc. Dhanvantri library is quite famous.
Attend your classes regularly. Jammu University is quite strict about attendance, results, etc. So, make sure you start focusing on your studying from the beginning of your course.
The faculties and the staff at the university are quite cooperative.
Have proper strategy and timetable from the very beginning, if you want to score well in examinations.

Here are some possible reasons that can be ascribed to the lower rank of Jammu University.

The quality of education offered by the university needs improvement.
The university needs to provide proper guidance and counseling to students regarding placements and internships.
Lake of proper administration is another contributing factor.
Kashmir University has a better faculty base compared to Jammu University.

There are a lot of things that you can do at Jammu University during weekends.

If you stay on the university campus, you can take membership and permission to access courts and games at the university stadium.
Most students prefer to study at the central library of Jammu.
You can visit the nearest tourist places like Mansar Surinsar Lakes, Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Shiv Khori in Reasi district, Gharana wetland at RS Pura, etc.
If you love movies, there are multiplexes within a 4-5 km radius of the university.

These are some of the things that students at Jammu University usually do during weekends.

Which university is better DU, PU or Jammu University?

It entirely depends on which course you are choosing. However, overall DU is definitely better than PU and Jammu University.

The academics and faculty base are almost the same at these universities. However, academics are not the only influencing factor in the overall development of students. Curriculum, exposure, and other additional things also play crucial roles.

At DU, you will have great exposure. DU has many societies like dance society, fashion society, debating society, etc. If you have any passion, you can explore it at DU. The peer group at DU is also better.

If we speak generally, for the given institutes, your preference order should be DU>PU>Jammu University.
