I always wanted to study economics and along with mathematics, it is a killer combination. We have fairly a good number of professors in the economics and mathematics department and mostly all are PhDs. Since my 12th went into the pandemic it was difficult to get back to writing physical exams that weren't OBEs but everyone managed in the end.
Read Full ReviewI choose Maths H because I was interested in Maths. And in future can switch to many related fields like economics, finance, physics, computer science etc. The faculty-student ratio is 20:150 I really loved the teachers of JMC. They really made the concepts clear. Most of them are PHDs from IIT, Jamia Milia Islamia. And, completed their bachelor's and Masters at Delhi University. I have my first semester exams in march. But DU has easy exams than other universities. Due to the new policy, the internal: and external exam ratio is 45:55.
Read Full ReviewI chose the course because I have an interest in political science. Faculty: student ratio is unstable. There are many students but compared to that faculty is very few. Enough time had been given between semesters and it is not that hard to pass or even score well in exams. The topics given in the exam are pretty much simple.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because of my interest in psychology. And the curriculum of the course is very vast. The ratio between student and faculty is well maintained as there are 2 groups divided in each section for practicals and for theory the class is divided into 2 sections of around 30 students each. And there is 1 teacher for each subject and practical. The faculty is actually a mix some have PhDs and good experience in the field and the majority of the teachers have good teaching methods which are well grasped by students but on the downside BA Programme students are given new and less experienced teachers than BA Hons students. There are 2 main exams per year 1st being midterms in the month of December and 2nd end terms in the month of April both of which are relatively easy to pass but it's difficult to score excellent marks because of the scoring system for 65% and above attendance, difficult checking of papers, and difficulty getting full marks in internals.
Read Full ReviewI am pursuing a B.Com program from JMC to establish my career in the field of commerce. The faculty of commerce is great and hardworking. The semester examination is quite straightforward and not as difficult to pass.
