Read Full ReviewI am interested in the research sector, especially in nanoparticles so I opted for chemistry hons. Specifically, Delhi University has always been a great attraction for students. And the faculty for our department is appropriate in number. There is 1 teacher for every 10 -15 students. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D. And exams come of moderate level which is always from the curriculum studied in the class.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because after switching from Science, Sociology seemed to be easily relatable. Besides that, I had heard a lot about the fantabulous faculty catering to this field of study. Here, for a batch of 75 students; 2 teachers cater to one subject. Faculties are good, however, some aren't very engaging in their pedagogy. Exams are frequent and it is more of a mediocre level; however, gaining marks is difficult.
Read Full ReviewI Chose This Course Because I Liked Chemistry And Bio Both, And Did Not Want To Opt For Hons Courses. In Miranda Faculty: The student Ratio Is Somewhat Like 1:20 . This Is Similar To Most Of The Colleges In Du. Faculty In Miranda House Is the Greatest Of Great, All The Professors Have Studied From Well Known Reputed Colleges, Plus They All Have Research Background From Foreign Universities Like John Hopkins, Oxford, Etc. Teaching Method Is Basically Through Digital Ppts & Lecture Offered By Professors. Exams Were Like 2 Semester In A Year Like Every Other College. But The Tests That Were Taken In Class Were Easy And Designed To Help Students Understand The Practical And The Subject They Were Studying Throughout The Year.

Read Full ReviewI am pursuing B.Sc. Physics Honors as I have a keen interest in the research field, so I like to apply for physics only. The physics department faculty is quite good although the strength of our batch is too much but it is manageable. The faculty is good and make us understand very easily. As we are from the Covid batch so our previous semesters were quite short say 3 or 4 months course, but now again it's a complete course.
Read Full ReviewI opted for this course because it offers two disciplines to study together. Also, it is very helpful if one is preparing for competitive exams like UPSC and so on. Being the first rank college in India and faculty members of the college are just amazing and are masters in their field. The eighth semester has an internal assessment followed by a semester examination which is not very easy, unlike other colleges for BA.
