- The affordability of studies every course in university is very much affordable as it is a government university so it is affordable
- Affordability of food everything in university is very cheap and affordable you can get everything to eat at a very affordable rate as compared.
Dislikes
- Strictness is not present a little strictness is must for the students to focus on their studeis
- Lack of public transportation inside the University campus as you have to walk everywhere
Remarks :
Admission process war earlier based on JUET( Jammu university entrance test) now it had been replaced by CUET for both PG and UG non cuet seats are also available in limited no but preference is given to CUET candidates after 1 month of CUET PG results Applications were invited by the Department and cut off is quite normal in final rounds Admission can also be done on low scores in cutoff.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Excellent as iam stududent of LLB apart from just theoretical knowledge we are also guided to focus more on its practical application moot court sessions are organized for real world court experience for law it is the best Institute in jammu exams are conducted after each semester of 6 months and difficulty level is normal.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are able to clear the entrance CUET PG with cut off score the fee is very less around 14000 per year and hostel fee is around 6000 per year excluding mess charges which are 40rs per meal and also self financing seats are available in the Department in limited numbers costinc additional 120000 per year reservation is also present in admissions for quota like SC/ST RBA EWS etc
Campus Life :
Social life is good all major festivals are celebrated inside the campus with great enthusiasm many events are also organized by university like Jammu haat and also by government of jammu and kashmir like trade fairs extracurricular activities include a track which is of very high quality all other sports facilities like gym basketball court football field all are accessible to students campus is also very beautiful and green.
Hostel Facilities :
Boys hostel fee is around 6000 per year meals are provided 3 times per day at a cost of 40 rs per meal there is no such menu mess management makes whatever they like but the food is good and food changes everyday for registration of hostel you have to give an Application to the HOD of your department
Faculty :
The staff is no doubt highly qualified in every aspect best teachers who will guide you through everything time to time guest faculty from other reputed institues are invited for lectues giving students more exposure teachers are very easy to interact and approach we can directly go inside thier chamber or office
