Mit wpu review

What I Liked

Great campus with good laboratory and all the modern equipments and machinery are present .
MIT WPU has many clubs which provide exposure and personality development.
MIT WPU being a university helps the students to interact with other students of different streams which helps in network building

What I didn’t like

Lack of parking facilities with conjusted parking for two wheelers
Morning college would be preferable, every year the college timings changes
Staff in MIT WPU often speaks Marathi which creates a language barrier in classrom

Remarks:

Firstly , the college is very close from my home. Secondly, MIT WPU is a deemed University. Thirdly, MIT WPU has one of the best mechanical engineering department with advanced machinery and well maintained labs .

Collegehood of MIT

What I Liked

College gives an extraordinary environment for each and everyone college supports Students startup, events and many more.
College is based on strong infrastructure, connectivity and discipline. College also belivies in yoga and spirituality
College has really updated policies of education system as we get a chance to choose a degree or honours program when we enter in 3rd year of the course.

What I didn’t like

College campus has really issue of the parking.
Outside the college there is really big smoking zone that covers almost 200 meter radius that's really disgusting scene I have .
College canteen is not so good and there is no ground for the sports except the basketball court none other sport is played in the college .

Remarks:

Eligibility for the course is more than 60% in the 12th board exam, any fellow would need to take an entrance examination of the college itself, the entrance examination moves in two parts, that is CBT (Computer based test ) and PI (Personal Interview). There are no reservation benefits In the college. The difficulty level of the entrance exam is really easy not to worry much, but the time given for the examination is a real catch that makes really tough and this exam also works for scholarships.

Amazing workshops for students to learn and showcase creativity

What I Liked

Faculty is very considerate and helpful, assign projects and there is focus on practical work. Attendance can be more flexible and theory can be reduced. They have clhbs whixh is the best for enabling students to develop skills
It is amazing there is diverse community interact well
Moderate to Good level in teaching and activities

What I didn’t like

Attendance criteria od 75%, more weightage on theory

There is certain cutoff for each course Cs with highest cutoff of 95% Eligibility complete Physics chemistry and maths Exam difficulth is moderate Application form on the official wedbsite of MIT-WPU

Honest Review of Admission process, Fee Structure, and Aspects of MIT-WPU for MSc Statistics

What I Liked

The college boasts of a well-maintained campus with modern infrastructure. The clean and green environment enhances the overall learning experience.
MIT-WPU regularly conducts workshops and training sessions that provides valuable practical knowledge of skills, complementing the theoretical aspects of the curriculum.
The vibrant culture at MIT-WPU is another highlight. The college celebrates various festivals and cultural events, fostering a sense of community and enriching the students experience.

What I didn’t like

While the college advertise 100% placement, not all students are successfully placed.
The management is not very efficient, leading to various administration issues and delays that affect the overall student experience.
Some of the teaching faculties are not up to the mark, which impacts the quality of education and student satisfaction.

Remarks:

Start by visiting the official website of MIT-WPU. You will need to register online and complete the application. After registration, you must take the entrance exam, which includes the CET. The CET is an important component of the admission process, conducted for 150 marks. The fee for the entrance exam is 1500 per course. If you qualify in the CET, you will proceed to the personal interaction (PI) round. This round is worth 50 marks. Admission is granted based on your performance in both the CET and the PI round. If you successfully qualify in both rounds, you will be offered a seat in the program.

My Life at MIT-WPU!

What I Liked

Atmosphere and location of the college is really good.
Campus is not that huge however facilities make up for it.
Most of the faculty is really nice and helpful and have a passion for teaching

What I didn’t like

No sports complex as it under renovation right now only basketball court available
Some subjects so far in my second year are very useless like foundations of peace, Indian heritage and all which we will never have a use for.
Some faculty for complex subjects like mechanics have no idea what they are talking about and send no notes.

Remarks:

Admission process was really smooth as all I had to do was fill an application form and a few weeks later I recieved an offer letter from the college. Then we just had to submit the required documents and it was all done.

VIT Pune is better. It is autonomous and offers better teaching, placement, and exposure. VIT Pune fees are lower than at MIT. So, the ROI is better in comparison.

Major industry giants such as Accenture, Mercedes Benz, Infosys, Mu Sigma, etc. visit VIT Pune placements. The average CTC offered during 2022 was INR 4.77 LPA.

MIT Pune cutoff through JEE Main usually stays above 90 percentile. You will need a score of around 150+. MIT assigns 50% weight to past academics. So, you need to have a good academic record as well to get a shortlist.

VIT cutoff stays around 96+ percentile, for general category students. With a percentile in this range, you will have a good chance of getting Mechanical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.

These are tentative ranks. The required cutoff varies depending on various factors such as branch, competition, seat availability, etc.

You should prefer MIT WPU. It is among the best private institutes in the region with an excellent placement record. MIT Pune placements 2021 had witnessed an average CTC of INR 3.68 LPA. The highest CTC offered was INR 37.26 LPA. Some of the significant recruiting companies that took part in the placement drive were IBM, Amazon, HCL, Amdocs, etc.

Compared to Indira, MIT Pune is a better MBA college. It is known for its good placements. MIT Pune placements 2022 had witnessed an average CTC of INR 5.92 LPA, for MBA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 30 LPA.

MIT has a great management faculty. The campus culture, locality, and student crowd are decent.

For VIT, the management quota fees for B.Tech CSE are around 18-20 lakh. Other than this amount you will also have to pay the course fee of around INR 1.32 lakhs. If you are getting admission through the management quota, you can’t change your branch in the second year. For MIT, the management quota fees will be more than 10 lakh.

Among these, VIT Pune is the best option for Mechanical Engineering.

VIT Pune Mechanical branch is more than 20 years old. So, it had better exposure. This helps in better industry recognition, tie-ups.
VIT offers better placements for the Mechanical branch. It offers more core placements compared to VIIT and MIT. According to the VIT Pune Mechanical Engineering placements of the last few years, the average CTC for the branch is 5-6 LPA. VIIT shares campus placement with VIT. But few companies visiting the placement drive don’t allow VIIT students to sit for placement.

VIT, VIIT, and MIT three of these colleges are autonomous, and they update their curriculum regularly. So, you can expect similar academics from all three of these institutes.

B.F.A Entrance Exam Pattern

The Bachelor of Fine Arts duration is an hour drawing test (Based on Elementary exams syllabus ) in the UGPET (Under Graduate Program Eligibility Test) test. Later on personal interview will come with the questions that cover the topics like basic computer, painting knowledge etc.
