GVP College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam started in 1996, has very quickly established itself as one of the most-preferred private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. College has been accredited by NAAC in 2009 with an A grade and has been sanctioned “Autonomous” status by the UGC.
GVP College of Engineering has 7 UG Programs, 13 PG Programs and 8 Departments were recognized as Research Centers by the affiliated University, JNTU-K, Kakinada. All the seven UG programs are accredited by NBA and five of them are accredited as per Outcome Based Education (OBE) and five PG programs are applied for NBA as per OBE.
GVP College of Engineering is Partner with Government of Andhra Pradesh and government of Germany (GTZ) in establishing and managing the Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology, Visakhapatnam since 2005. It offers Bachelor of Technology courses with duration of 4 years. The total number of seats varies depending upon the specialization. The institute also offers a 3-year part-time B.Tech. course in Chemical Engineering. It offers PG courses in M.Tech. and MCA with the durations of 2 years and 3 years respectively.

- Library- The library of this college is being regularly updated. It consists of all the modern-day resources such as Online Databases, Micro Documents, Books, Project Reports, Journals Thesis, Back Volume of Journals, and Video Lessons from NPTEL.

I secured an eamcet rank of around 4800.I applied for the colleges through eamcet counseling.The eligibility is to take examcet exam and pass the board exams.The application details are provided in the apeapcet.com website I used the EWS reservation to get scholarship. The improvements that can be made are that the detailing should be more simpler.The navigation in the website must be made easier.Also the time management should be done better.

The overall admission process went well the process was very smooth and I did feel any tension and pressure for admission I took the State eligibility exam to get admission to the college the exam name is AP EAMCET. Based on our marks they will give the rankings for the marks I got in the exam it's an online assessment. I worked hard to take the exam.

I have joined this college through the EAPCET exam which was conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board. The cutoff ranks are different for different categories and for different branches. Say, for CSE and for OC caste the cutoff is 2544. We faced a lot of struggles during the counseling process due to the immature maintenance of the website by the AP government. But I'm glad I got a seat in GVP.

I am from ECE department my cutoff rank was 16217 in OBC category in 2021.when that time my college was affiliated by jntuk. Whenever it was affiliated by Andhra University my college charges building fees are taken from students around 10000.cutoff rank is changing every year and also depends on category or course.

I have got a seat through rank in the AP eamcet exam. Based on the category cut-off criteria I have secured the seat. The application fee for ap eamcet is 600 and based on the reservation it varies. For applying of ap eamcet exam it's website should updated properly.

I wrote an entrance exam for joining b-tech AP EAMCET. I got a good rank and I have reservations I got a seat in the ECE branch in this college. I find the government website to find applications and they give updates shortly without any questions. There a good opportunities for poor students to study. Reservation is giving a chance to prove self because of lot of students have lost their lives. Yes, we want improvement like so many students are coming from long distance from college and coming for repot. We want to self-report in the online method and once gain a report in college after completing all councelling.

The admission process is through entrance exams like EAPCET and ECET exams in AP. I have taken the EAPCET examination. I scored 23000 in EAPCET and kept the counselling process. I gained a seat in the Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering in the Civil Engineering Department. The eligibility is you should pass your Inter Board examination and for ECET you have to pass your graduation process in polytechnic. You will find the application form in papers and internet. The application fee is nearly 1000 rupees and application dates are released before two weeks in respective examination websites. There are reservation benefits, if you are SC/ST then your application fees will be reduced and you have a reservation in your respective counselling process and in seat allotment. The admission process should be improved as website crashes happen so many times. The website should be handled with so many servers so that it never crashes.
