Ques: How many attempts for JEE Main 2023?
Ans: NTA has decided to conduct JEE Main 2023 in two phases. So, the candidates will have two attempts for JEE Main 2023. One attempt will be in January and the other will be in the April 2023.
Ques: What are the pros of the increased JEE Main Attempts limit?
Ans: Increased JEE Main Attempts offer several opportunities to the candidates so that they can improve their scores in the examination. Also, in case someone missed the examination due to reasons beyond their control, they don’t have to wait for the next year, rather they can give the exam in the remaining three sessions. However, since the window to prepare for the four sessions is very less it often leads to an increase in the mental pressure to prepare better. Therefore, 2 attempts at JEE Main 2023 can be considered ideal for preparing and scoring better in the exam.
Ques: Is it compulsory to give JEE Main in all the sessions?
Ans: No, it is not mandatory, it is purely the candidate's choice. Whether they want to give one attempt or two is entirely their decision. There is no restriction on JEE Main Attempts Limit. In case they have attempted all the exams, the better of the two scores will be considered while preparing the merit list.
Ques: Am I allowed to apply for one session or more than one session at the same time?
Ans: Candidates have the option to apply for one session or for more than one Session (April /May) together, but they need to pay the exam fee accordingly in case they are taking the benefit of both JEE Main Attempts 2023.
